Hacken beat 2-1 on a penalty in the 82nd minute! That's interesting - but I don't know whether I can explain it. Mebbe the ascendant is fortified by the agreement of powers between Lady of Hour, Venus, and Lord of ascendant Jupiter. Jupiter being Lord of the Day and owner of shop (main administrator) sort of causes a double fortification? The Moon did trine Mercury, L7, but she was cadent in the 12th house and Mercury was succeedent...

Maybe I've got it back-to-front. The play between Jupiter and Venus attracts the favourite to the ascendant, and then Moon in the 12th trine Mercury, L7, in the 8th awards the game to the underdoq through a penalty?

Andrew, actually I wonder why you have gone for the bookies fave. ASC is the last degree Sagittarius, so it according to Bonati (tradition) have no value in the sign it is but in next. Jupiter, L of day and ASC, is below horizon, almost stationary and heading towards opposition with Saturn (reciprocally), L of intercepted Capricorn in 1st. There is obvious disagreement amongst lords of 1st - Jupiter, Saturn and R Uranus (co-ruler of Capricorn). Double opposition!!! Mars, L10, is also within the orb and heading towards conjunction with Saturn and opposition with Jupiter and R Uranus. Mars antisca conjuncts Jupiter. In addition, Saturn and Mars in VIII square ASC (ASC dexter square 29VIRGO falls between Mars and Saturn). Saturn and Mars from VIII squaring ASC seems to be a telling indication that either there is draw or the game gone to the underdog.
Venus, L of hour and dispositor of POF, is of little help to the fave for she is in VIII, in her fall and detriment of Jupiter, L1.

Moon is in partile trine with Mercury, L7. Partile aspects seem to be very powerful; and once we agree that DSC is the underdog, Moon's partile trine with L7 is a strong testimony for the underdog.

I wonder whether radicality of a chart is an indication for the bookies faves or it is an indication that all goes according to statistics. I looked through statistics how Hacken has played v Helsingborg at home - 5 victories 2 draws and 1 loss; 3 from 5 games ended 3:0. So, according to statistics, Hacken can even be regarded as a fave in games v Helsingborg at home.

FC Lahti - KuPs

A pretty contradictory chart, not radical (day Venus, hour Moon, ASC 11:19 Sagittarius).
Lahti is the host and would probably be playing in its black home kit, thus it gets ASC (Jupiter in Aries). Jupiter has become stationary and is a couple of hours away from moving retrograde.

Moon, L of hour, is in her detriment, which might be an indication for draw. She is a partile conjunction R Pluto, co - ruler of IV, partile square Jupiter, L1, and Mars, L4, antisca which is the only aspect she perfects. Moon, in addition, is partile trine her exaltation degree (Taurus 3).

Saturn, dispositor of Moon, is the Almuten of MC (exaltation plus triplicity).
Venus, L10, partile trine POF.

As Lahti would be playing in black and KuPs in white, I am tempted to attribute Saturn to Lahti and Moon to KuPs. Moon is in the hands of Saturn and conjunct R Pluto which is believed to import destruction.
On such testimonies my choice is Lahti.

However, Moon is in her detriment, which could be a strong draw indication. Conjunction with R Pluto may bury the score, i.e 0:0.

I haven't looked at the chart Anderlecht - Gent, but, according to your analysis, I think the game would rather go for the underdog than draw.
Partile hard aspects with Pluto, as far as I have noticed, are pretty destructive. Next what we have is Jupiter, L of hour, heading to opposition with Saturn. Rulers of ASC Saturn and R Uranus are also in partile opposition. Mars, L 10, is within the orb and will join soon. With such indicators and coupled with others you mentioned, I would go for the underdog to get it.

The 30th degree did strike me as potentially non-radical, but we seemed to get along fairly well in incidences with the ascendant on the cusp a few seasons ago. However, I also noted that the Sun was in the 30th of Cancer - and we have seen the conidition of the Sun to influence the over-all picture, ie. when joined to outer-planets we appear to get more surprizes; connections to Saturn might be producing more draws.

Personally, I don't want to move the favourite to the ascendant. That just messes things up for me. Unless in particular circumstances where maybe the favourite is defending a default.. My preference is to try to determine the favourite from POF, the MC, the luminaries or fortunes.

Thanks for offering your opinion on this evenings games. The only way to figure it out is by taking a position and then adding everything up afterwards. I believe we are looking for a key, a code or tendency. The favourites don't always win and a home ground doesn't ensure immunity. We are looking for those instances where either the embankment will hold or there are cracks in the defences. The event of a match being decided by a faulty referee decisions is a very strange thing indeed. A lack of justice?

I forgot to say the UNIBET started awarding betting results in the H?cken - Helsingborgs game at half time yesterday, when the score was 1-1. Several emails were posted annulling the result and then with the correct 2-1 score when the game was over.

I admit I check with the internet to see whether there had been a fight and the one team had left the pitch.

There is quite a bit of extra information I should have given, sorry.

First, I am using a 4 degree orb. Second, the aspects are not dynamic, so they are both applying and separating. If I restrict it to applying only then there are not enough observations to give reliable results, and it does not seem to matter too much if it is applying or not. I will try the split later but the numbers may be too small.

Just a query on the statistics provided by GB

When the Moon squares from above the total of draw, home win, away win gives 81.7%

Everything else seems to be fairly close to 100%.

Is there a mistake on these figures or am I misunderstanding the figures for Moon squares from above.

I want if all that join to this site chose one or two games and provide a deep analysis of the selected game. We must arrive at a common conclusion which indications should be given preference; otherwise we are going nowhere and we are unlikely to get the clue how to read such charts. Alternatively, we can share the tasks. For example, I can make a researh how the outer planets could affect the result (partile major aspects with Uranus, Neptune and Pluto). Black Moon, I believe is also a destructive indication and cannot be disregarded.

Lahti - KuPs 2:1, obviously the analysis returned some dividents. Lahti did a feat scoring 2 considering that its average is 0.5 per game. I am sure that Moon's unenviable position (in detriment and conjunct R Pluto) was the clue how to read the chart.

John, thanks for spotting that. The figure for Home win at 40% is wrong. It should be 58.3%. I had given the figure from the Moon below in error.

At least I got everything wrong, so it is easy to see that I am off track. Tomorrow's game between Aalesund and Vaalerenga is gonna be tight and difficult. Besides I have to sit back and add up.

The Alesund trainer is also meeting his old club, Valerenga, so a lot of emotions are in play here. The most exact aspect is the Moon trine to Venus, the application needing no more that 6'. But this application does not separate this game from other games starting at the same time. Mars, L1, is in the 10th but on the antiscia of L4, Jupiter. I am so off form when it comes to football predictions, but seeing the guards might get caught on the bridge I think I'll go for a draw
