Mars enters Libra in the early hours of Friday 30. July, joining Saturn in forming his opposition to Uranus and Jupiter. Later in the evening the Moon enters Aries to transit Uranus and Jupiter and a total of 5 celestial bodies will be involved in the action. I have on record from the past that Mars' transit through Libra may prove disruptive to stock markets - but it isn't quite the same as a hard rule.

These cardinal planets form a T-square with Pluto i Capricorn. This could cause a lot of mundane tension all at once, or is it all in the mind? I add that Saturn disposes the North Node and Moon disposes the South node. That's a lot of opposites.

Yep its a really lousy line up. :-sk Not least as the dispositor of the Mars-Saturn conjunction is itself in its sign of fall. As always its the timing question when this configuration manifests. I haven't studed Mars-Saturn conjunctions from the past much. I assume its reasonable to see the conjunction degree as a sensitive point that can be triggered later by transit like an eclipse?

Thanks

Mark

I happen to know someone who is getting married tomorrow, now you mention it. The bride is a great girl but has been troubled with epileptic seizures. :(

Thank you for the Crawford-link, AquaStella. In short he is looking for a new dip or testing of the stockmarket fundamentals. In technical terms the market is ready for a C-wave towards the downside that can get quite intense and wild if it first gets loose. We will have to see. I hope it can be avoided.

In Italy we started this day with a "mundane" divorce

Berlusconi quarrels with his EX ally and makes his Gabinet very fragile- at least so many hope in Italy.

Maybe this conjunction is not so negative as we believed :)

among the myriads of marriages is of course the Clinton/Mezvinsky alliance, ceremony beginning at 6 PM tonight at Rhinebeck NY w/ pluto on the ascendant, emphasizing the cardinal t-square

interfaith and over the top -- the date's basic virtues are that the t-sun conjuncts the bride's moon, the groom's Jupiter (his sunsign ruler) at 2 capricorn on the 7th which, completes the mundane t-square into a cardinal cross.

data: Chelsea: 27 Feb 1980 11:24 CST, Little Rock
Marc: 15 Dec 1977; Philadelphia, speculative rectified time: 11:18 pm (his moon in pisces partile conjunct her sun)

her neptune (sunsign ruler) conjuncts his sun; his neptune conjuncts his venus while his saturn conjuncts her mars/jupiter conjunction

If anyone feels like associating the alignment of Mars and Saturn in Libra with a 'gnashing of teeth', I would like to add that the young woman who I know who got married today is actually the dentist's daughter.

As far as I know the bride is studying to become a dentist herself and has one year left before completing her education. Maybe her groom is a Jupiter/Uranus in Aries type?

Thank you for the details on the story, Steven. The agreement was compared with the treaty signed between the USA and the USSR by Reagan and Gorbatsjov in Reykjavik, 1986, to disarm nuclear weapons, and as an important step in the right direction to weapon disarmament. Yet nuclear weapons are still an issue and yet around.

I thought that the opposition of Mars/Saturn to Jupiter/Uranus in Aries added to the astrological description of the millions of undetonated bombs from wars fought 50 years ago assumed to be remaning in the field (opp. Jupiter, retro in Aries). They have the unfortunate effect of suddenly exploding (Uranus, retro. Aries) and continue to mutulate many innocent people - children included.

The Moons final aspect in Aries is significant, since her sextile to Neptune represents or describes this important new initiative to weapon disarmament.
