25 by Janis Valkovskis Almost nothing has changed after 2HF, except Ipswich get it against Middlesbrough being down 1:0 after 1HF. Nothing exceptional, 5 home wins, 4 away as according to statistics. Quote Sat Aug 07, 2010 4:05 pm
26 by GB The two games with Mercury in H10 (at Bristol and Preston) ended as away wins . Of the seven with Mercury in H9, five were homes and two were aways. So, while it looks to be the other way round from what I expected, I am still wondering what distinguished between the seven with Mercury in H9. The Middlesbrough match and particularly the Reading match were very much against the odds. Why these two? Do we have to accept that these two results were unpredictable? 27 by Janis Valkovskis Wrong with that one Bayern get the cup in regular time. Moon's conjunction with South Node usually means draw. Actually, today draws are less than in average, it a little bit surprises me. May be her conjunction with South Node in Cancer, in her own house, does not have any impact on draws. We need some statistics on that point to see the tendency. I am personally experimenting with the colour method if there are a number of games played simultaneously with the same sign rising. I believe that there are no unpredictable games, just our methods are incomplete. Quote Sat Aug 07, 2010 6:01 pm
28 by john A quick observation on the Championship results, in particular the underdogs victory. Bristol v Millwall. Red v Blue. Blue win Away Mboro v Ipswich. Red v Blue. Blue win Away I'm not sure what Scunthorpe colours were? They usually play in Maroon/sky blue which I take as ruled by Venus. The only possible red team was Doncaster(?) who played against white Preston. Mars-in detriment went against those teams in red. One of the things looked at last season was whether the 'flow' of the game changed when the planetary hour changed. Quote Sat Aug 07, 2010 6:12 pm

Looking through some of the results in todays Championship and League 1, I would say that GB delivered a good piece of work. A lot of games ended contrary to my hopes/wishes or gut-feelings: Burnley - Nottingham Forest 1 - 0 Crystal Palace - Leicester City 3 - 2 Middlesbrough - Ipswich Town 1 - 3 Preston North End - Doncaster Rovers 0 - 2 Reading - Scunthorpe United 1 - 2 Leeds United - Derby County 1 - 2 I think recognizing the overall picture is an important clue - and lets face it, many of these games started at the same time. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Aug 07, 2010 6:38 pm

So an other "blue win away" - if you can assign the white / dark blue Preston outfit to Mars; but light blue isn't Mars-like at all either. Scunthorpe - yes, the maroon stuff, for me very similar to the outfit of Burnely. But Reading wore mainly light blue, their shirts contained white stripes as well - a bit like QPR. Who would be ASC (Mars) here? Coventry and QPR were other "blue teams" with victories. What is not clear: Leicester - in yellow - were beaten, but as far as I know yellow is OK for Venus. Swansea, the same, in white. And it's hard for me to assign the colors of the Reading-Scunthorpe match. What came to my mind, it's very unorthodox, can it be that those teams were really supported "from above" who were really "blue"? And similarly those in red (not red-dish, or gold (Hull) or maroon (Burnley, Scunthorpe)) were hindered? It's strange I know. Quote Sun Aug 08, 2010 2:42 pm

Just on the colour theme, it is something I have pondered over for games starting at the same time. The planetary hour was saturn for the first half and Jupiter for the second. With the blue teams beating the reds: Millwall scored two during jupiter PH, whilst the other was just before half-time. (This may have been close to 15.47 when the PH changed?) Ipswich scored all their goals when the PH was jupiter As Taurean says QPR had the victory, also against a red team. Three of their goals came when the PH was jupiter and the first at a similar time to Millwall's, just before half time. Just an observation on the games thats all! Whether it says something for the Planetry hour I'm not sure. It would have useful for some saturnian teams to have been playing, to see how they fared during the first half. Maybe it says something more about Mars being in detriment. Quote Sun Aug 08, 2010 9:35 pm
32 by Andrew Bevan There was some excitement in the Norwegian round yesterday, when I had picked the ultimate underdog in both the upper leagues: Stabaek - Stromsgodset 1-2, Odds: 1.50 4.00 6.30 Bryne - Sandnes 1-3, Odds: 1.70 3.75 4.50 I had combined the matches in a triplet with Fredrikstad, who are candidates to win the first division, winning their game away against Strommen at the odds of 1,65:1. Total odds on 3 games 46:1!! Fredrikstad were 0-2 up after the first 45 minutes - and then Strommen scored 3 times in the 2nd half. I didn't realize I'd got all the underdogs... Strommen - Fredrikstad 3:2, Odds: 5.00 3.60 1.65 The correct triplet was worth 141:1.... http://www.astronor.com Quote Mon Aug 09, 2010 7:41 am
33 by Andrew Bevan I am putting a bob on Portsmouth against Stevenage this evening, although the chart may not seem overly convincing: Stevenage - Portsmouth, 19.45 BST Odds: 3,20 3,40 2,10 Asc 28CP46 MC 1SG28 Moon 12LE07 POF 23CP48 Day Moon, Hour Sun - not radical The Moon, L7, is in the same sign as LHr and they are both in the 7th. Saturn, L1, is sextile the MC - this might not be enough for the home team? Jupiter, L10, is opposite Venus, a fortune in her own sign. I am not sure - but I am willing to go with Portsmouth and see how it spins out. http://www.astronor.com Quote Mon Aug 09, 2010 6:29 pm
34 by Andrew Bevan Stevenage 1 - 2 Portsmouth That's on the right track. Saturn's, L1, sextile to the MC was cast through signs of long ascension (sometimes converted to a square), but Stevenage did get something out of the match by scoring - and neither did Saturn throw ice on this game and cause it to end a draw. The Lady of the 7th in sign and applying to LHr seemed to be a credible testimony. The few matches played today seemed to end more according to expectation. With sportspress.com being on some sort of holiday, I have been following the games at www.livescore.com instead. http://www.astronor.com Quote Mon Aug 09, 2010 9:19 pm
35 by Andrew Bevan The Moon's opposition to Neptune is the predominant aspect this evening when the Carlin Cup games are played at 19.45 BST. The Moon rules the 7th house - so after that we seem to have had a period when the underdogs are ruled - I wonder whether the sentiment will be in favour of the favorites? I am going for some fun combinations with Leeds, Leicester, QPR and others. http://www.astronor.com Quote Tue Aug 10, 2010 4:33 pm
36 by Andrew Bevan A short report from Tuesday's Carling Cup; The greatest upset in my opinion was QPR-Port Vale 1-3 (Moon in Leo opposite Neptune; a weak and disapating day for Royalty?), but then there was Morecambe-Coventry 0-2. The most convincing results were Leeds-Lincoln 4-0, Stockport-Preston 0-5, Norwich-Gillingham 4-1, Peterbrough-Gillingham 4-1 and Oxford beat Bristol Rovers 6-1. The last one being a bit of a surprize. http://www.astronor.com Quote Wed Aug 11, 2010 4:15 am
