13 by LittleMermaid Hi Sungem , and by the way - the reason for asking the question was a very different one than you think . I was given an answer by one astrologer - a very positive one - that I should meet someone new and have a relationship with him, that he should be good looking since Venus and Mars are almost in a sextile and additionally it should be someone my family knows (Mars - him in the fourth house)...based on the sama data posted here . So - since it sounded too good to be true I just wanted to verify it with someone else - so my original reason for posting this question was ENTIRELY THE OPPOSITE from what you think it was . 14 by Scorpio711 Hello! I can't see how anyone that knows anything about horary could acertain a yes from that chart - it screams no! I don't think your question was clear enough because you made it sound as if it was just a general enquiry as to when you would have a relationship but it turned out that you actually had someone in mind from the begining and that you had just finished with someone which starts to muddy the question - fuzzy questions lead to fuzzy answers. It can only be clear cut when you really know what it is you are asking. Interestingly enough, John Frawley in his book The Horary Textbook (buy it now its great!!!) says of combustion 'If a planet cannot see, the person it signifies cannot see reason. The querent whose signficator is combust will not take any notice of the judgement.' I'm a bit confused - the astrologer that read the same chart said you would meet this man because of the sextile between Venus and Mars? A sextile is a weak aspect at the best of times but this one is separating - its already happened. Venus is meeting no one new. It applies by square to Saturn who is in Venus' fall - someone you don't like very much. The Moon (you also) applies to Saturn by trine with no reception - the moon has no interest in Saturn at all. Which ever way you look at the receptions and whoever they stand for - Mars just about likes you which is the one your planets are interested in and Saturn is very interested in you and you don't like him at all! To get the answer we have to look at the receptions between the planets, you can't just use the aspects - you also can't just use the aspects without noting if they are applying or separating. And a word from an old cynic - if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. All the best Jacky Quote Wed Apr 13, 2005 4:59 pm
15 by LittleMermaid Hi Scorpio711, thank you for your answer . Crazy as it sounds - I wonder - could it be possible that the Saturn person is the one I have not seen for so many years and the Mars is the one I have recently broke up with? The point is that the recent guy is more a friend of mine than some really passionate love affair to me (which would explain that Mars just about likes me - since he feels the same way as I do about it)- while the one I have not seen for a long time was something much more profound... . 16 by LittleMermaid Hi Scorpio711 , in case you have not seen my last question I will write it again. Is it possible that the guy having still feelings for me might be the one I have not seen for so many years instead of the recent one whom I have just broken up with ? It would REALLY make much more sense...! Thanks, LittleMermaid . Quote Sun Apr 17, 2005 5:52 am
17 by Scorpio711 Hello again! Excuse me for being skeptical here, but why do you think this guy you split up with so long ago would still have strong feelings for you - if there was so much love between you why did you split up in the first place? I can't pull anymore out of that chart. If you feel there is still something between you and this guy then contact him and find out - if he hasn't found another partner in the mean time. I personally think you're better off moving on completely from both of them. No one ever likes hearing that sort of news - I know I don't but sometimes you have to take a reality check and as much as it hurts starting afresh is sometimes the only option. Kind regards Jacky Quote Sun Apr 17, 2005 12:09 pm
18 by LittleMermaid Hi Scorpio711, thanks for your reply . Since you have mentioned that one of those two guys does love me and the other does not - my assumption was that since with the guy I have not seen for so long there was a really deep love involved I think of him as the one who still does love me. The recent guy was not someone to have "the butterflies in the stomach" from. Nevertheless, you are right that I should move on from both of them in any case . LittleMermaid .
