by PallasAthene Good! one less to choose from! If venus rules circles look out for Dirak Shan and Norman Orpen. Not many clues from Sahl... 1st, 10th, 11th have no planets, could be fav, could be outsider.. venus rises after sun so younger horse maybe.. puts supersticious me and status symbol out. Looking forward to the result! Quote Thu Sep 02, 2010 12:21 pm
by VestaDS wow what a great three rces, congrats Pallas on the 19.50pm, hope you had a few pound on it. 18.20pm Mercury Apspect 6:20 | 13 Darcey (Catherine Gannon, 16-1 ); 5 Hatta Stream (S Golam, 25-1 ); 10 Rainy Night (Jack Mitchell, 10-1 ); Darcy is very Mercurial, as in the novel and film "Pride and Predjudice", but I would normally associate this to a Merc Venus aspect, Hatta has Mercuty colours, but Rainy night was Merc saturn 19.20pm Venus Aspect 7:20 | 1 Status Symbol (W A Carson, 7-4 fav); 6 Norman Orpen (D Holland, 10-3 ); 7 Spirit Of Love (S J Craine, 7-1 ) Congrats Pallas on another winner, I only managed 3rd... 19.50pm Jupiter Pluto aspect 7:50 | 6 Malice Or Mischief (Jack Mitchell, 2-1 fav); 3 Daas Rite (Julie Burke, 9-2 ); 1 Takeaway (P Dobbs, 3-1 2nd-fav); Pluto took the honours from a weaking Jupiter aspect Last edited by VestaDS on Thu Sep 02, 2010 9:01 pm, edited 1 time in total. 281 by PallasAthene Re: 19;50 thanks, but to put it in perspective, I identified 5 horses out of 10 and then discounted the winner in my last post! hohum. thb, I suspect that the money placed to cover the combinations would be more than the winnings! Happy with Malice or Mischief : ) Das Rite was drawing me too so could have been a forecast.. do you have to name winner and places or can you just say first 2 or 3? The 18:20 has me foxed.. Darcey is pink and black stripes.. looks like saturn in libra to me so maybe I missed something in the chart? The next race, 18:50 had a winner with similar colours.. only 6 runners and the winner came in at 25/1 Geordie Iris. Could'nt have called that! http://horses.sportinglife.com/Racecard ... 56,00.html Quote Thu Sep 02, 2010 10:26 pm
by VestaDS "do you have to name winner and places or can you just say first 2 or 3?" Assuming you mean picking 1st and 2nd I allways do reverse forecast if I select 2 horses, which would have worked today for you, either can be 1st or second. Unless you pick 3 horses then you have to do 6 bets of the 6 different combinations, so you can have 1st, 2nd and 3rd in any combination Tricasts pay big..... Quote Thu Sep 02, 2010 10:35 pm
by PallasAthene I'm not getting good results with Sahl.. does anyone know what house system he used? Was it equal house? I've using his aphorisms with campanus which may be why it's not working! It would be very useful to know when the fav is going to win or an outsider : ) Quote Thu Sep 02, 2010 10:42 pm

by PallasAthene Re: Kempton 19:15.. is that mystic triangle AND a grand cross?? Certainly fits Polar Auroras! Apart from that I'm looking at Pink Cat, for colours and Blanche Dubawi and Rio Belle, sort of named people (in 7th). With venus in terms of mars would have to include Azzoom and Bird in the Wind.. so 50% again! Back to Sahl, owner is shown by L1.. saturn in Libra.. Rio Belle (Rio Partnership) and Bird in the Wind (a sheik? exulted?) could fit... in equal house 1st/10th/11th are empty.. but POF is in 11th disposited by jupiter.. rx in terms.. lots of these horses have never run before so hard to tell. So a horse that's had a place..(Darjat, Bird).. or a horse that's picked by a pundit maybe? Let's see.. Quote Thu Sep 02, 2010 11:25 pm

I'm going with the Mare Encircled But their should be others in contention notably Rumble of Thunder ( Neptune) Snoqalmie Star Fily ( Neptune) Lovers Causeway ( Venus) Countess Comet ( Venus Neptune) Spiritual Art ( Venus Neptune) Thundering Home ( Neptune) Sea Change ( Venus Neptune) Maybe a race to watch from the sidelines.....
