37 by Tanit According to the above, wouldn't 2 out of 3 of those rules apply, thereby implicating the Sun/coworker?, i.e., 1) 2nd house ruler making an aspectual contact (opposition) *to* the 8th house cusp, and 2) 2nd house ruler aspected *by* the 8th house ruler (opposition again). Good point, but they are in their own house and dignity (where they should be, basically) and it's an applying opposition unreceived? A disagreement between planets that doesn't usually lead to perfection of a matter without reception. Sun-Saturn are already pretty competitive with each other (add the combustion), because they are polar opposites in a lot of ways - Saturn being cold and Sun being hot, etc. Then you have the 2nd/8th ruler aspect of enmity, perhaps showing a need to fight it out with him in order to settle her doubts. Moon also applies to both rulers (2nd/8th). The last aspect the Moon made was a trine to Saturn, probably pointing to the querent. In missing item horaries, the Moon is co-sig for the missing item. Mercury-Jupiter opps are known for jumping to conclusions, misinformation, sloppiness, carelessness, etc. Maybe it doesn't always work out this way (it usually does in my experience anyway), but I usually look at applying aspects as things of the future, separating of the past, and it doesn't make a lot of sense to regard applying aspects for theft issues when the aspects haven't happened yet. They aren't partile even, meaning around the time of the question, so it just doesn't make a lot of sense. They may be within orb of influence, but it's weird to say something happened, or that a theft has occured, when it didn't yet. Plus, the astrologer's judgement is that the querent is at fault, so it's no wonder that a lot of us are seeing this too, since the astrologer seems capable of reading the chart and the chart has some rootedness. According to the background given, her till stayed even for the 5 months of her employment before the vacation. Let me answer my own question--here in the US, the academic season just started. Around the date on the chart, people are just starting the school year. I wonder if the reason for the errors was because business was picking up and things at the shop have gotten a little 'hot and heavy'(quite fitting for a Sun-Saturn conjunction eh?). When money expenditures get hurried, cashiers tend to make errors(as I work in a supermarket, I know this very well). New American $20 bills do tend to 'stick together', so we have to be careful when we give them out as change. So perhaps in the 5 months prior, she had not dealt with such high volumes of business, but now that the school year has just started and the weather is getting cooler, people are more prone to getting coffee, meeting and greeting, etc etc. The Sun and Saturn are in Libra, and the 9th House(Whole Signs Equal), perhaps the business was being flooded with new students, foreign visitors, and return of loyal clientele from last school season..?? A coffee shop nearby is convenient if you have an early-morning class and no time or inclination to make breakfast. thanks for the educated responses. there is still no evidence on who or what happend to the money. she told me that it must be her fault. she finds herself daydreaming on the job and is loathes that job. someone that hates a job so much may put little attention to their tasks! yesterday she was over 16.00 and kept it (how strange I know ). she must've given some customers the wrong change...which will later irk them once they realize they were given the wrong change or missing money themselves! she hasn't talked to the quesisited about this. she realized that it all points to her mistakes. funny you mention but that the coffee shop was actually much busier before her vacation. it has settled down now a bit probably because no one is getting cold drinks, prefering just coffee. i don't know! and yes the bills sitck together. when she closes at night to count her register she has to count it up twice because the new bills are so hard to separate and misses count. her daily sales before her vacation was always over 1,000.00, just her register. nowadays is around 700.00. and yes you made a good point about the foreign visitors/students the shop is down the street from the white house so she gets loads of diplomats and professional. 40 by AquariusMoonPerson [quote="Paul"] What I find weird about this horary is that with the Moon translating light between Lord 8 and Lord 2, it's the other way around to what you would expect if he was a thief. I was thinking maybe the Moon translating light from Lord 2 to Lord 8 might show the money going from her possession to his possession. But it's the other way around, it translates from Lord 8 to Lord 2, it's almost more like she's taking money from him. I did wonder if this guy ends up forking out his own money as a gesture of good will or, he's forced to, when he's not a thief at all. quote] the quesited did admit to the querent very recently that one day after he was getting off his shift that he was short 6.00 on his register several weeks ago. he put 3 dollars from his own money so not to get in trouble. which made her second guess him. In this chart the Sun is in detriment and cionjunct Saturn, which might describe this man as basically honest but presently corrupted because of difficult circumstances, but even such a person as this would be unlikely to uphold a false persona over a long period of time. very intersting. I will keep that in mind in case I get another chart like this Quote Sat Oct 09, 2010 10:16 pm
42 by Tanit yesterday she was over 16.00 and kept it (how strange I know ). I guess she made back some of the money then, although it's not really right to keep it. I still think it was her fault, although we may never know for sure! I was attempting to read a missing person chart (one of my relatives bugged me) about a missing man who is presumed to have committed suicide and he had a similar significator (Saturn in the 8th combust, separating, and separating from square to Pluto - Pluto squares show up a lot in these questions). Cap rising, and he seemed very Capricorn by the description of his personality, so it fit him and had hr agreement. I figured the chart was saying it was of his own doing, although I'll probably never know either. I remember a thread here on skyscript on the 6th ruler and someone mentioned 1st ruler in the 8th house showing a person who may cause their own demise, though maybe by accident. Suicide seems very 1st ruler in the 8th to me, and you might think the same in other types of questions - querent causing their own problems, even if by accident. Quote Sat Oct 09, 2010 10:50 pm

Doesn't seem quite right to me. It does seem like the querent is at fault here and that the quesited was not a thief though so thankfully the querent is beginning to believe that that might be the case too.
