As many may have noticed it has been rather cold of late, that is in Europe, at least. Out the back at my place the thermometer showed -20C this morning, so I went onto the internet to check the local temperatures round and about. What I got was a rather unusual weather map with both Suns and Moons.
Can you explain the map? Give the matter a think a few minutes and I will explain it in a post following post further down the line, so you don't get the answer at once but have time to try and figure it out.

The answer is that I happened to log in to the weather map at exactly Sunrise. So while it is still 'Night' in Oslo, West of Oslo and in areas North East of Oslo - hence the Moon, the Sun has already risen and it is 'Day' in loactions South and South East of Oslo. So actually is still Night in Asker, where I am living - but Day at Nesodden on the opposite side of the fjord and only 8 km away.

Who would have thought... I would never have noticed the difference.
