Which House System for Mundane Forum Charts? 1 by Mark Hello All, I often display charts here on the mundane forum for members to view. However, to make this more reflective of members wishes I wondered what house system people prefer to see charts displayed in? I tend you use Placidus most of the time. However, I thought I would check with you all for your thoughts. With over a dozen house systems popularly in use I cannot realistically list them all. I have therefore put up the most popular house systems with a bias towards those with a substantial history behind them. Please vote on the poll! 2 by Mark Its looking like a two Horse race between Alcabitius and Placidus houses. Alcabitius is nudging ahead.... I will give this another week or so. If no change we are on Alcabitius as the default house system for the forum. In any case I dont see the point of a generic category that doesn't list a particular house system. There will will be no way to act on this feedback. In an ideal world I would list every house system under the sun and tally 2nd and 3rd preferences under the single transferable or preferntial voting system. However, I am afraid this is a bit more of an informal affair which makes no pretense at being fully accurate I should point out that if a member wants a chart displayed in their chosen house system I am happy to do this for them. Equally, people will also continue to display charts here in a variety of house systems. It appears I was incorrect and numerous options are available on Skyscript polls. I can apparently put up to 10 options. So sorry for wasting the time of members but I am going to relauch this whole idea in the New Year when mercury is direct again. Here are the house systems I will put up in alphabetical order: 1 Alcabitius 2 Campanus 3 Equal 4 Koch 5 Krusinski 6 Placidus 7 Porphyry 8 Regiomontanus 9 Whole Sign 10 Other I have left out Topocentric as it leads to very similar results as Placidus. I dont think Meridian or Morinus house systems are a serious proposition either. Although if we get any Artic charts Morinus might be worth a go.
