AZ assasination attempt/rampage

At about 10:10 am, in Tucson, Arizona according to the Sheriff, 22 year old male walked up behind Congresswoman Gabby Gifford and shot her in the head, the bullet was through and through, with a semi automatic 9 mm glock(info was given at one of the news conferences by sheriff), then continued shooting. 19 people in all were shot, 6 died in the rampage including Federal Judge, One of Gabby's Aids and an adorable 9 year old girl, who is the grand daughter of MLB Los Angeles Dodgers Manager. I don't have a DOB on the alleged suspect Jared Lee Loughner as yet, but he is said to be 22 and was a senior in HS in 2006 in AZ. so some of the background is beginning to come together. Two bystanders tackled the suspect and contained him until he was taken in for questioning by sheriffs deputies, I waited to post until a bit more info was out, because I didn't believe the 10 am report, I thought it was probably a little off and reports are saying that yes, it was a bit after that, 10:10 is their current time for the incident.

Interesting side notes, Gabby's husband is an astronaut and so is her brother in law, who is the current commander of the International Space station.

Gabby's Birthday is listed as 8 June 1970, Tucson Arizona on Wikipedia, I dont have a time. The Sheriff also stated last night that it was known that Gabby Giffords was the specific Target.

I find the Pisces Moon ascendent to be intriguing. If Gabby was born close to 7 am she would have had an 8 Leo moon. Her natal North Node is 5 Pisces 59, Her natal Pluto is 24 Virgo, Trine Transiting mars, Her natal mars is 4 Cancer, natal Venus 20 Cancer, Natal sun 17 Gemini (150 degrees from yesterdays sun) Natal Chiron is 9 Aries, Natal Saturn is 16 Taurus. 150 degrees is the number of the day between these two charts.
Doctors are hopeful she will live, and she was responding to doctors commands yesterday after surgery, so some good things are possible.

Also interesting from a USA astrological perspective is the fact that the 9 year old girl who was also shot was apparently born on 11 sept 2001.

You know I hadn't seen that tidbit, I also haven't run the chart of the Unfortunate Federal Judge who was killed Yet.

Okay another 8 birthday, his Date of Birth on Wiki is listed as 8 Feb 1947, he would have been 64 next month. his moon would have been between late Virgo and early Libra. (if born later in the day it could have been 7 libra, just to fit in nicely with all the other alignments)

the man has a beautiful Kite chart with just a few squares for spice.

Also 19 Aquarius Sun (the suns are hovering near that 18 degree mark)

Venus at 2 CAp
Jupiter at 25 Sco
Chiron at 8 Sco, so Trine the event moon and ascendent

if you just lay over the date onto the event chart you get
a large probability of that Jupiter Uranus Conj being opposed to his Natal Moon (if he was born before noon)

Chiron and Neptune conjunction Conjunct his natal mercury
and Square Natal Jupiter which is almost conjunct transiting Venus (its applying) Natal Venus conj transiting NN and Pluto which is in T square with the Uranus/Jupiter Opposition Moon

Not the best chart. though I believe he will be well thought of in the future. I think that Venus Satrun Trine Grants him some fond memory.

With the young girls chart, her natal Mars of course conj Pluto and NN, Her Natal Pluto at the top of the tragic chart. Almost conj the MC actually.
Natal Uranus Trine Saturn. natal Saturn Trine Saturn.
depending on time of birth Moon may have been Square the Jupiter Uranus Conj, OR May have been trine the event moon.
Her natal Jupiter was trine with the event moon.
and of course Sun Trine Sun.

I just looked at the Ingress charts for Aries and Capricorn - both have Gemini rising.

In the Cap Ingress what first struck me was the partile square of Mercury on the DSC, at 25 Sag, to Jupiter in 10.

The chart for the shootings (10:10 am today) puts Mercury at the same degree as the Ingress does. Graffias culminates - it's not a nice fixed star to say the least, and in my experience, has often shown up in murder charts.

There's always more, of course, but give me a moment and I'll post them.

Thought I?d run the fixed star parans according to Brady while I was at it for 10:10 am Tucson Az, 8 Jan 2011. Please note Rising and setting stars will be relevant to the specific location only. Also I'm not responsible for the translation, these are strait from Brady's book, however scarily accurate that may be.

I've been playing with these charts on and off all day. I hope to put together a few things. What follows are random thoughts.

Aries Ingress has Moon on Algol and in Tucson in the 12th house. Congresswoman Giffords has Mercury on Algol in her birth chart. If we use noon the orb is slightly over 1 degree. Also a noon chart puts mutable signs on the angles just like the Capricorn ingress. At noon 3 Pisces was on the ASC and the Capricorn Ingress has 2 Pisces on the MC.

Using Morin's methods Mars is the ruler of the year and he squares Saturn in the Capricorn Ingress chart. Both Mars and Saturn are exalted. Mars is conjunct the 8th house of the Capricorn chart (Placidus cusps).

Mars also opposes the Moon in the Capricorn Ingress chart and for what it's worth the Moon is tightly conjunct the ASC of the 1762 Grand Conjunction chart (prior to American Independence) which would tie the event to the entire nation, whereas a random killing of a private citizen would not.

Like I said these are random observations just tossed out for the moment.

Since you use the Conjunction of 1762, I take it that means you use the 1776 chart for the American chart and not the September 1893 Paris peace treaty as a chart date? And have you looked at the both the 1762 and the 1782 charts with some of the presidents charts? some interesting alignments there.

I've never been impressed with any of the 1776 charts or the ones that followed. The best of the lot in my opinion is the Sagittarius rising July 4 1776, but it doesn't sit right with me that one of all the proposed dates/times are right and all the others are wrong.

The 1762 Jupiter Saturn conjunction is very interesting and works as well as the others, but it is the same thing: one chart is better than the others. It is further complicated by the fact that Washington DC did not exist in 1762. The land that ultimately became DC existed (called Foggy Bottom at the time) but there was no US Capital because there was no US. So when did the USA become the USA and where and what time? The arguments are endless.

Morin argued that city and or state charts were valid if we could be sure of the exact time they were established. Since that isn't possible the next best thing would be the ingress charts for the time before the establishment would have to do and subsequent Ingress charts could be treated like solar returns. That makes as much sense to me as anything else.
