Is this a 7th House horary question? 1 by Clinton Soule A querant asked me: "If I go back to California to live will my erased DUI from Canada force me to return and deal with it? Time: 10:58 am Place: South Lake Tahoe, Ca. Date: 1/19/2011 If this link works: http://www.astro.com/cgi/chart.cgi?cid= ... fix=1&ast= The Forum will have to forgive me for NOT understanding how to put the horoscope on the forum and I'd appreaciate if someone could in Regio. The Horary has 22AR01 rising, with Mars 3AQ01 ruling the querant combust in the 10th. The Moon/Querant is 28CA00 in the horay's 4th in opposition to the Sun by one degree and 21 minutes appying; so the querant is in a bad way. As stated my Hypothesis is that the 7th is the matter as it's a matter of Courts and Law. And the 7th is ruled by Venus at 12Sag51 in the horary's 8th making a sextile to Saturn at 17LIB11 in the 6th. If this is the correct derivative house I see NO Frustration coming that could offset this positive aspect that could nulify this judgment. Please correct me if I'm wrong but *IF* the 7th is the derived house I see the querant will have to return to Canada to take care of this Business with the Courts. This of course is due to the sextile from Venus to Saturn as Venus is lord of the 7th. Clinton Garrett Soule Quote Wed Jan 19, 2011 8:30 pm
2 by Tienka Atema Hi Clinton, I am sorry, but I have no idea what DUI means? Could you clarify this, please? regards, Tienka www.astrologiepraktijk.nl Quote Wed Jan 19, 2011 10:39 pm
4 by Olivia I don't understand the question. If I go back to California to live will my erased DUI from Canada force me to return and deal with it? I thought 'erased' meant something like pardoned? It seems not, and I don't know what it means. And if the querent is asking from California about moving to California and having to go back to Canada because of moving to California, I'm triply confused. Quote Wed Jan 19, 2011 10:47 pm
5 by Clinton Soule Olivia, The querant has gotten a DUI, Driving Under the Influence(Legally Intoxicated/beyond the legal limits) and has worked something out via with the lawyer or/and police department, yet thinks that Canada may extradite( Querant's Canadian Providence Driver's Liscense Now Revoked) for the offense if something comes up unforseen by the querant at this time and wants to move back to California. Querant's Natal is Cancer Rising, Moon in Gemini, cjt the 12th; a real problem child! :-sk And an Aries Sun, who just had a recent saturn return in late Virgo; legal problems everywhere. 6 by Olivia From a stay-or-go perspective you can't win for trying in this one. Home or homeland I'd take as 4, and that's Cancer and the angle is too close to the South Node for comfort - that's a mess, and could also be indicative of multiple problems. And the Moon is there, and Cancer is cardinal, as are the other angles, which seems to indicate the querent wants to leave. But - querent's combust in 11 (oh joy), so they probably aren't going to listen to you. Note Saturn smack on the 7th cusp. In this case, I think the warning to the astrologer is well-advised. Stay put, we look at the ascendant - Mars peregrine and combust and the Moon about to oppose it. Blech. Move - a place with Saturn conjunct Fortuna (really not auspicious), Venus will sextile from Sag which might help some, but Venus is also in 8, so how much help it can give...I don't know. I really wouldn't want to move somewhere signified by Saturn, especially a Saturn that's slowing down to go retrograde, and this one is. Plus sitting on Fortuna, it doesn't look like he or she will get any lucky breaks. Choose your poison? Have you asked your qurent if they have legal problems in California as well, or wherever they are now? Neither of the alternatives looks terrific to me, sorry - it looks like stay and have problems, or - move and have problems. And you might be best to just call it not judgeable because of the Saturn issue. Quote Wed Jan 19, 2011 11:34 pm

Getting a license in california will not be a problm... I do not think that Canada will launch extradition process on DUI case. I do not think they will erase it though but issue a warrant on unpaid ticket. CD Quote Thu Jan 20, 2011 5:22 am
9 by Clinton Soule Olivia said: Choose your poison? Have you asked your qurent if they have legal problems in California as well, or wherever they are now? Yes Olivia, as I stated the querant has thier Natal Asc. Lord, Luna in Gemini on the natal 12th cusp within 5 degrees by Lilly 'five degree rule" and this native is constantly courting 'self undoing'; and we all know here what that 12th house can be! :( :( :( The querant is facing various HARD problems that I won't mention here as I as her astrologer DO NOT want to be a witness in a court case against my querant nor do I want the powers that be to record all the evidence that I might say as all emails and cell phones are taped via the USA illigetimization of the 'right of privacy'. Olivia your analysis was correct, I was looking solely from a legal angle of the quesited as looking at the 7th, and did not even think about the 7th being the house of 'relocation'(where the querant wishes to move) until you helped out this poor astrologer hampered by Saturn's separation from the 7th. I'm sure many Ancients used various methods to arrive at the same place and this *move* perspective makes ultra great logic because it's worse for the querant in California{from the Frying Pan and into the fire} than where they are at the moment in Canada. Olivia, I know exactly what you mean, this Aries Sun as typical, won't listen as her attorney has advised her to stay away until after a certain deadline and the querant has great difficulty hearing any advice! :( Clinton Garrett Soule Quote Thu Jan 20, 2011 11:13 pm
10 by Clinton Soule R.A. Said: It does look like a possible warning about moving as well since 7th is the "moving house", but it doesn't matter to you that Saturn's dignified? R.A. even though Saturn is more than the 'Lilly's Five Degree Rule' I'm buying in to the concept of the move(the 7th) looks bad. But is it not Venus Lord of the 7th that is the significator and the quesited? So If Venus is positively aspected it's a YES answer, in that whether they(Canada) issues a warrant or they catch the querant when they someday return home it looks like the querant can not leave without penaltys. 11 by Olivia I have to agree with Clinton - and where there are legal issues involved, and Cap is on the MC, you probably don't want to run into an exalted Saturn's arms. Or I wouldn't. Especially if I were Mars, which is already in the other of Saturn's signs, but Saturn behaves better in Aquarius, at least. Libra is the sign of Mars' fall as well, so the bad just piles up. In this case, I would even put Saturn (especially slow, about to retrograde - the past catches up to you - and on Fortuna) as possibly representing prison, or at least a very very stiff penalty, one that's going to be with the querent for a long time. As a rule, unless you're logging, mining, building buildings or other structures or doing something else really Saturnian, Saturn places are good places to stay away from. Saturn rules misery. Mars rules conflict. This is why we want to move to places where the significator is applying to benefics, and separating from malefics, not the other way round. Even when they're in good dignity, they'll still cause disappointments and things not working out near as well as you want them to. Quote Sat Jan 22, 2011 12:57 am
12 by Tanit Mercury elevated, ruling the 3rd and natural sig for transportation, applying to square Saturn on the 7th cusp (travel to another location) and the applying full Moon with Jupiter also ruling two difficult houses and collecting light of a lot of influences, seems to me that the querent would run into trouble between borders because of document issues not being clear, etc. Jupiter rules the 8th, 9th and 12th houses, so it's tying in breaking the law (8th) with long-distance travel (9th) and imprisonment (12th) or at least owning up to any previous mistakes (maybe not prison but the sense of feeling trapped by one's actions). Saturn collects the light of Venus in the 8th (being intoxicated/over-use of substances, or, in other words, driving under the influence) and Mercury (documents, etc.) so I would expect it could be a patrol person or some sort of "judge" who holds power in the matter by being the most essentially and accidentally dignified planet here. Saturn is about to go stationary, but has sect, is oriental, in exaltation and is angular, so he's all around powerful to do what he thinks is right and he is by the book about things. A querent as Mars peregrine and combust in a day chart seems a bit reckless though (as someone says they can't be regulated and may not listen to advice), even if they are in a sign of Saturn. It does look like a possible warning about moving as well since 7th is the "moving house", but it doesn't matter to you that Saturn's dignified? Saturn on the 7th cusp, even when dignified, is still difficult because he opposes the 7th house and is by nature not the most helpful planet. As I showed in the physician thread with Saturn dignified, the physician was still not helpful to the querent and had biases, as any other Saturn usually has. In questions on law, you wouldn't really want the 10th ruler as Saturn in the house of the opposing side because, as Lilly mentions, Saturn is biased in legal issues and here he would be biased against the querent.
