Good work! Maybe you can keep an eye open for other things occuring under the same meridian.
The day I wrote my post, I thought about weather change, but it seemed okay and it was a wonderful day. Moreover the 5day perspective of the meteorological institute was normal.

Now however there are warnings for glaze extreme weather in the East Netherlands this night, since Sunday already there was increasing clammy weather, brrr.

(edit: I deleted a part because it contained errors and some irrelevancies).

Any prospects up North, Andrew?

I think the stormy weather these days related to ca. 980Mbar depression above the North Sea might be related to the Mars cazimi. Also the sudden change from cold/clammy to relatively mild/moist weather is significant. Mars hot and dry with the Sun, but the moist of Venus by the semisquare, all are applying in aspect to Jupiter. And we shouldn't forget that Sun in 15 Aquarius is related to 'Imbolc' the celtic 8 points in the calendar.

As this is something solar, I had a look at the heliocentric chart of 4 Feb 17:00UT.

Mercury 269?26'
Venus 195? 2'
Mars 315?32'
Jupiter 10?52'
Saturn 191?57'
Uranus 0? 4'
Neptune 328?19'
Pluto 275?23'
Earth 135?32

Many aspects going on there. Jupiter is applying to opposition to Saturn. Perhaps the Sun finally is waking up from the sunspot activity minimum.

Egypt
First to Egypt where Friday 4. was announced as the Destiny-day! It was feared demonstrators would match to the President palace in attempt to force the immediate resignation of President Mubarak. At this point the USA entered the discussion and were looking at the diplomatic possibilities of an immediate successor for the Egyptian president. This has yet not manifest, yet on Saturday, February 4., the entire party leadership announced its resignation, including Mubarak's son, who would no longer stand as candidate to take over as president after his father.

At the moment of writing it is still uncertain whether the 82 year old Hosni Mubarak has resigned or will resign as party leader and sitting president. Mubarak previously stated last week that he intended to hold office but not stand for reelection in September. This left demonstrators unsatisfied.

Weather
Apart from the cyclon that hit the NorthEastern coast of Australia last week, on Feb 3. Norwegian's were told to brace and secure all loose objects as it's coastline was hit by a hurrican raising waves up to 20m tall. All road passages across the mountain were closed. Source: Aftenposten

Greetings:
By my calculations the Hegira, the birth moment of Islam as signified by the sighting of the first lunar crescent following the 14th July 622 new moon, occurred at 6:52:40 pm LT (16:13:24 UT) on 15th July 622 at Mecca (21N27, 39E49). At that time the new crescent Moon at 13:12 Leo and a very bright Venus (magnitude -4.0) at 14:04 Leo were conjunct the royal star Regulus (magnitude 1.35) at 10:43 Leo. This conjunction is commemorated by its depiction on the flags of Moslem nations. The February 2011 Mars cazimi conjunct these bodies coincides with the Cairo uprising and helps explain the present unrest throughout Islamic countries.

This timing of the Hegira that I quote here is one day earlier than the official date. I explain my rationale for the difference in Considerations XVII:3, pp 70-73 (available without cost at www.freeconsiderations.com).
Cheers
