Cutting to the chase w/new horary question..

1
I finally decided to ask what I've been burning to know, anyway...'does DKE have romantic feelings towards me?" I believe he did at one time. I don't know anymore.

I asked this question at 2.36 am in Columbus, OH on 5/15/05.

Aquarius 24 was rising with it's ruler, Saturn, in the Fifth house. Pretty clear! The current Mars/Uranus conjunction at 10 Pisces is in the chart's first house, perhaps signifying imminent action/confusion? This is making an inconjunct to the Seventh House Jupiter....I hesitantly take this to mean that he (seventh house) has positive feelings but there has to be some sort of adjustment or change, here.
His ruler is the Sun, in the 3rd house, in Taurus. Again, strong focus on 'romantic communication'. Venus in Gemini is also in the third.
Finally, Pluto is in the Tenth House (end of the matter.)

It appears that the last aspect the Moon will make is a square to the 3rd house Sun.

Any clues, hints? I am hesitantly optimistic with that 7th house Jupiter in Libra (albeit retrograde) but the last aspect of the moon has me concerned. Am also not too sure how to read the 1st house Mars/Uranus quincunx Jupiter aspect....

*falls over* My Venus/Mars conj. in Scorpio is taking over! Ah, the intensity and obsession! LOL

I get an ascendant of 25? 44? for this chart using the information you gave but it doesn?t make a lot of difference. Jupiter in the 8th house, not the 7th, and Pluto in the 11th house, not the 10th. Planets within 5? of a house cusp are deemed to belong to the next house. But neither of these planets is relevant to your question. I would probably ignore the outer planets unless they are a strong focus in the chart, such as being on an angle. Venus is in the 4th house, not the 3rd. Saturn, your significator is in the 6th house, not in the 5th. This is not a good house to be in as it indicates weakness. Saturn is also in Cancer, the sign of its detriment so I would say that you do not have much power in this situation. His significator is in the 3rd house as you pointed out. I don?t see this as a ?strong focus on romantic communication? but with the Sun having little strength it perhaps suggests communication difficulties. With his significator separating from yours it may imply that the communication decreases or stops. Both significators are peregrine suggesting the possibility of a lack of power or desire to make this work.
The separating sextile between the two significators suggests that this relationship is in the past. The Moon will aspect the Sun by square, possibly meaning that there will be some tension coming, perhaps if you try to contact him and he doesn?t want the contact.
There is some mutual reception between the Sun and the Moon but I?m not sure it is enough to give a positive answer to your question.
I'm not sure whether you were suggesting that Pluto or the 10th house was relevant as the end of the matter but it is the 4th house that shows the end of the matter.

quincunx

I use quincunx in horary only to give generic "psychological" insight about a relationship, never to give an factual answer... it can be useful sometimes :-)

My interpretation of the quincunx is a bit different, I usually think in frustration and/or dishonesty.

There is little to add after Sue's masterful delineation.
I would like to say that the Sun is in Saturn's term, but Saturn is in Venus' term. As you are represented by Saturn and him by the Sun, it translates that you care about him, while he doesn't. The essential dignity of term stands for feelings.
The Sun in applying square with the Ascendant is an important sign not to be overlooked: he does not want a relationship.
The Sun so close to Algol (<2 degrees) is another element pointing toward the lack of love.
Also, the Moon separates from retrograde Jupiter and applies to Neptune, both being the rulers of the intercepted sign in the 1st house (you). So the whole thing is actually in your mind.

I'm at a loss, here.

When I asked WHEN he'd call, the reply was, "He looks forward to more communication with you" and "Jupiter retrograde in the 1st shows he likes you."

Now this latest horary says he doesn't care and 'it's all in my mind.'

I feel sort of stupid, but which is it?

LadyJane,
You previously asked the question:
I asked at 3.52 pm, Central Standard time, in Columbus, OH, 5/10/05,
"When will I hear from DE again? What is going on in our relationship now"
and your current question is "Does he have romantic feelings for me" (or something like that).

If both questions pertain to the same person, I think you are pretty much asking the same question, in which case the answer in the first horary will be the one that counts. You can not ask the same question again unless circumstances have changed.

Regardless, hope things work out for the best...

Huh, if anyone is the stupid, that's me, isn't it?
Actually, I didn't know that it was a question about the same person.

In order to clarify this, I would like to know if in the previous topic, when you said

it was actually at 1:52 pm CST, right ? This is the only way to work with a chart with 24 Virgo rising

Unless....

unless something went wrong in that thread.

Hi Jane,
I?ve hesitated to comment but if you are going to disregard this very clear advice (judged, I would say at a moment of strong connection to the issue ? 2:36 AM is not a time we ask unimportant questions), for the sake of an earlier horary that was more confusing, it?s only fair to place a question mark over the relevancy of any of your horaries relating to this issue. Apart from your most recent question, you have been posting this same horary question, of when you will hear from him again, does he really care for you and does he have romantic feelings towards you, on at least five different occasions in the past, going back to August 2003.

All of the responses you have had to those previous horaries have indicated that this man does not have the same level of affection for you that you have for him. In one of them the ascendant-ruler was combust ?neither question propounded will take, or Querent be regulated? (CA. p.121), an indication of your resistance to the horary revelations. After nearly two years, if you have still been unable to clarify whether he has romantic feelings towards you, it's probaby best to conclude that he doesn?t.

It would be great if you cut a few ties and found that he was prepared to make the effort of moving towards you in developing the relationship, but the chances of him doing that without some dynamic change on your part are negligible. And I feel that the only positive change you can make is to accept the reality of this dead-end situation - this relationship is more damaging than beneficial to you.

I am also concerned that in this horary the 6th-ruler, the Moon, is moving towards the square of the Sun (his significator) from the 6th, and your ascendant ruler in this chart is heavily afflicted and located within the 6th house. I hope you will question how much all the anxiety over the long-distance and infrequent contacts contributes to depleting your spiritual health and well being.

In an earlier post you wrote:
We have a lot of synastric aspects. His Sun is opposing my moon/uranus conjunction. His Saturn squares my Sun and trines my Neptune. His Venus is opposing my Jupiter and his Mars conjuncts my Moon. His Moon/Saturn conjunction also falls on my Chiron.
His Sun falls in my eighth house, his Moon in my Seventh.
Unfortunately I don?t see those contacts as indications of a healthy compatibility that you can develop; they seem to be the kind of connections that play on your insecurities and vulnerabilities. His Sun falls in your 8th house making you experience a sense of loss and grief. His Saturn squares your Sun, leading towards depression and a depletion of your own creative energy. There isn?t anything here to suggest that he will bring joy and affection into your life; it all seems to be about emotional disruption and distress.

Sometimes people make us feel that we desperately need them in our lives, because their effect is to confuse us and demoralise us ? so that the only times we feel ?charged? are when they are around. It is very difficult and painful to break away and I think you probably need some support to help you cope with the prospect of that. But I am also sure that when you ask the question ?how does he really feel?? you really want to know the truth, no matter how painful; because this situation has already been too painful for too long. And when you do go through the painful process there really is a new light at the end of the tunnel, no matter how bleak things seem at the moment. So I hope you take that step and decide that you are worth a lot more than the few meagre scraps you seem to be getting out of this man?s ?friendship?.

Sincerely
Deb
