Fifteen inmates thus leaving death row. This is interesting, because is occurs as Uranus is in the final minutes of Pisces. Jupiter, the Preserver, who is the ruler of Pisces, comes from a square with Pluto, the Destroyer, who is in Capricorn, Judgement, Exercution or Death. 2 by Mark Hi Andrew, Interesting story. The USA does rather stand out as just about the only developed western nation to still regularly use the death penalty. I am not really up on US federal and state law on capital punishment. However, is Illinois first state to reverse the trend of states reintroducing the death penalty? The move back to capital punishment seems to have started with the execution of Gary Gilmore on January 17th 1977 in Utah state. Gilmore became the first person executed in the United States after the U.S. Supreme Court upheld a new series of death penalty statutes in the 1976 decision Gregg v. Georgia. Gilmore was executed by firing squad in 1977. Following this several US states either reintroduced the death penalty. I am wondering if there might a wider astrological cycle worth looking at here?
