PS it looks as though the earthquakes have juggled the rest of the ring of Fire and just a bit south of Japan, Indonesia's Biggest volcano has spewed a bit in response.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110311/ap_ ... ia_volcano

JAKARTA, Indonesia ? One of Indonesia's most active volcanos has erupted, sending lava and searing gas clouds tumbling down its slopes.

Volcanology official Agus Budianto said Friday that authorities were still trying to evacuate residents living along the slopes of Mount Karangetang.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or serious damage.

The 5,853-foot (1,784-meter) mountain is located on Siau, part of the Sulawesi island chain. It last erupted in August, killing four people.

Indonesia, the world's largest archipelago, is located on the so-called Pacific "Ring of Fire," an arc of volcanos and fault lines encircling the Pacific Basin.

The eruption happened hours after a massive earthquake in Japan that triggered a Pacific-wide tsunami.

Hawaii also had a small earthquake same day as Japan which I find interesting.

some harbor damage and a couple idiots in Crescent city washed out to sea, other than that West Coast seems to be okay (I say idiots because of the history of Crescent city, anyone stupid enough to go to the beach in Crescent city to take pictures of a tsunami with a full warning on deserves what they get, shear moronic suicide!)

okay Granny going back to snooze mode...

Oh, it's very interesting! :'

I used as hour ingress 8:38am, in this manner:

The Ancients (Bonatti, Ramsey, Ptolemy) have linked earthquakes with Saturn and Mars, now we have like substitutions or better deepening planets, Neptune and Uranus.

Both are - in every charts - in a dignities of Saturn or Mars.
In specific for Capricorn Ingress:
Neptune is in Saturn Triplicity and Mars Terms.
Uranus, on contrary, is in Mars Triplcity and Saturn Terms.
Saturn is in his Exaltation, Triplicity and Face.
Jupiter is in Mars Triplicity and Terms, and in Saturn Degree. Cleary in Neptune Ruler as well as your MC.
Mars is in his Exaltation, Face and Degree and in Saturn Ruler.

Uranus receives Neptune by sign (mutual reception).
Moon receives Neptune by face.
Moon is conj to South Node in opp with stellium in XII similar Event Chart.

I've found very interesting your first chart about earthquake after eclipse because paradoxically coincides with Astromap on 11 March 2011:
Image
On Japan and Tokyo, we have proper Uranus ASC and Jupiter ASC linked with people and state.

However, in Capricorn Ingress the Moon squared Neptune on 19 Dec 2010 5:58am, shortly before, from ASC.

In this case,
Jupiter is conj to Neptune in mutual reception with Uranus in square with Moon. South Node in ASC. Dignities similar above. Uranus with Markab, afoot sudden accidents.

I thought we had it somewhere. Infact I did draw attention to the conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus in the Lunar eclipse chart, and the Astro*Cartography lines just East of the coast of Japan here on Skyscript as early at Dec 9. 2010. in the thread on the Solstice Lunar Eclipse.
Asia:
Zooming in on particular areas, notice how the eclipsed Moon is on the ascendant of Korea,
and JU/UR is on the Midheavan of the East Coast of Japan.

The Dec 21. 2010 7,4 Richer Earthquake does according to the USGS have the following data:

Region: BONIN ISLANDS, JAPAN REGION
Geographic coordinates: 26.866N, 143.739E
Magnitude: 7.4 Mw, Depth: 14 km
Universal Time (UTC): 21 Dec 2010 17:19:41
Time near the Epicenter: 22 Dec 2010 03:19:41

In comparison with the Earthquake occuring on March 11. 2011:

Region: NEAR EAST COAST OF HONSHU, JAPAN
Geographic coordinates: 38.322N, 142.369E
Magnitude: 8.8 M Depth: 24 km
Universal Time (UTC): 11 Mar 2011 05:46:23
Time near the Epicenter: 11 Mar 2011 14:46:23

80 days separate the two Earthquakes and there is a latitude difference of 11?28'. Since we offer a strong case showing that the two events are related, this travel of time and space, with events drifting North, is an interesting matter that may be explored further.

The reactor core has not melted as yet, but the cooling building did explode, I'm looking for a time, but I haven't found it on the news articles I've seen. the release of the pent up hydrogen did lower the radiation levels imediately around the reactor, but that may be a temporary thing, depends on what blew exactly. They have resorted to using seawater to cool the core, which is not necessarily a bad thing, there is a LOT of iodine in sea water. Still looking for a reasonable approximation of time of explosion. it is the nuclear plant, Fukushima Dai-ichi, 170 miles northeast of Tokyo. they have five of them on that bumpy island.

"The Ancients (Bonatti, Ramsey, Ptolemy) have linked earthquakes with Saturn and Mars, now we have like substitutions or better deepening planets, Neptune and Uranus."
Although Saturn and Mars make sense, the only one I've been able to document is Mercury by Ptolemy
"With reference to the air, since he [Mercury] is very dry and swift on account of his nearness to the Sun, and the speed of his revolution, he is particularly apt to arouse irregular, fierce, and changeable winds, and, as might be expected, thunder, hurricanes, chasms in the earth, earthquakes, and lightning." - Robbins p 187
Apparently Ptolemy is associating Mercury with the rapid changes that occur as a result of an earthquake, where as Mars and Saturn are associated with violence and destruction respectively.

Working another angle (no pun intended), I've been trying to relate the events in Japan and the events in the Middle East to the various Ingress charts using Morin's methods. Morin isn't the easiest guy to understand under normal circumstances, but on complex topics he's even worse. So far I can say this with as much certainty as I can muster without really being certain. Morin and others stress the importance of determining the ruler of the year in the Aries Ingress. That planet has a general effect from Aries Ingress to Aries Ingress. This year it is Mars.

The Aries Ingress is the base chart and the other ingresses, eclipses and lunations are subservient to it. Charts that trigger the Aries chart tell us when the effects promised in the Aries chart take effect.

The Capricorn Ingress chart regardless of where we cast it, has the same angles as the Aries Ingress chart of the same location. So the final quarter of the year will most likely produce the promises of the Aries chart. Given that Mars is the ruler of the year and we've seen plenty of turmoil in the Middle East and now Japan, I'm beginning to think the saystem has merit.

In Japan Capricorn rises in both ingress charts and Scorpio is on the MC in both. Both signs are Mars ruled by either exaltation (Capricorn) or domicile (Scorpio). Mars is in the 7th in Leo in the Aries chart. an old traditional astrologer would have immediately cried "War!" But Lilly tells us to mix discretion with art. There was no likelihood in March 2010 or now that Japan would embark on a war. War like conditions or results are more likely. Mars is in a tight sextile to Saturn Rx in Libra in the Aries chart and both tightly aspect the Sun, the principle planet in all ingress charts and a point ruled by Mars who is in mutual reception with the Sun in this chart.

Interestingly, the solar eclipse of Jan 4 2011, set for Tokyo, reverses the ASC DSC axis of the ingress charts putting Saturn on the IC square to Mars. Moon in Cancer opposes Mars in Capricorn in the Capricorn chart (both square Saturn). Mars is on the antiscion and Moon is on the contra-antiscion of Mercury in the eclipse chart.

Something this sketchy could not be considered predictable but it is interesting.

The charts for the recent Earthquakes - Christchurch NZ and off Sendai Japan have Air trines with the South Node involved - Dragon's tail! Once an Air Trines starts it travels quickly and can't be stopped. WTC attack is a chart to observe with an Air Trine.

Predicting a significant afterquake has hardly any meaning at the moment. So far I have received notice of over 80 significant afterquakes the last two days, all measuring over 5,5 Richter. They are all large earthquakes. The largest measuring 6,8 on the Richters scale and would by its own right be considered as major earthquake. There was an earthquake measuring 7,1 Richter one hour after the major event itself - but such a significant shadow or echo-event was also noted with the earthquake in Chile.

A day that is interesting to monitor in the short run is March 17. First the Moon crosses the sensitive area at 17-18? Leo between 00-04 hrs GMT, then later at 21.00hrs GMT when the Moon enters Virgo and squares its position in the mother chart.

The event line from Dec 22. 2010 up to March 11. 2011 rizes with 11?28 - which is a little short of 12?. This is interesting because 12? is an expression of 1/30th of a 360? circle.

Yet take the figure 11?28 or 11,466 and mulitply it by 7, and this gives you the figure 80,26 which is an expression of the number of days that separates the two events.
