I was doing a little reading on the Dodekatemorion in both Firmicus Maternus and Paulus. They both have sections covering the Dodekatemorion. Firmicus says to check the terms in which the Dodekatemorion are projected to while Paulus says to note if they are in pivots, declines or with benefics, malefics, "good lots" or "bad lots".

One thing I'm not seeing in either book though, is if these degrees can receive aspects from the natal planets. Does anyone have anymore information about them?

According to Mr Schmidt,whereas the lots belong to the ?descending path? of the differentiation of planetary powers, the twelfth-parts belong to the ?ascending path? of the unification of these same powers.

I'm unsure as to what you mean by the "ascending path". Could you elaborate on that please?
