Will I pass this assignment?

I know what happened and the outcome of this question, so it may be beneficial for anyone to study this chart.

I made my own predictions on this chart. But I would like to see what other people have to say about it.

Here is my analysis at the outset of this question:

Moon although detriment and 6th house sextiles Mars lord of the 9th. Sun although in the 8th conjoins Jupiter in the 9th. This chart looks positive.
I am hoping against hope that this is a pass. The Moon Mars link suggests a yes, especially since Moon is received by Mars.

Poor indicators appear to be a cadent and detriment Moon and An 8th house Sun that only applies to a retrograde Saturn in the 3rd.

What do you think? I will share what happened once I have a different opinion on the chart. There are some things that I have learnt here and I'd like to share.

I'm sorry, but I'm not a native English speaker/writer and I'd like to know - what this assignment is about?

In this case, the answer is pretty straightforward: you pass!

Jupiter is right on the cusp of 9th (so he's the significator of the assignment) and you're the Sun, appyling to him. Simple. :)

The Moon in detriment doesn't have much influence, maybe something was lower than expected, other than that it's all good.

But Sun applies not to Jupiter but to Saturn if you progress this chart...?

Jupiter opposes Saturn, and then Sun opposes Saturn.

Do you think that Saturn acts as a collector of light?

6
Oh, yes, both Jupiter and Sun apply to Saturn, so yes, Saturn is a collector of light. :)
The answer is the same, though I believe that Saturn hasn't much power in Aries, more like a harmless barrier compared to Sun. You can be thankful Saturn was not in an angle.

So, what you are saying is that Saturn is a weak barrier between Sun and Jupiter...?

But then the Moon is in a dreadful state, cadent in the 6th house and applying in a square to Mercury, how would you explain that?

8
Yes, Saturn is weak in matters of 9th House, because Aries is the fall of Saturn.

The Moon is saved by both Saturn and Mars in their dignities (Saturn has exaltation and triplicity, Mars has term/bound), so she's not in that dreadful state. Being cadent means no power at all. She applies to Mercury by square, I guess there was some sort of disagreement which was quickly settled.

I still have problems with this chart. To me it seems incredibly negative.

The application of Sun to Saturn by opposition.

To me everything rests on this Sun-Saturn opposition. How can this be positive?

I passed the essay, but I found out on the same day that the Masters won't be recognised by the University where I work.

That's probably a separate question though.

I want to see how this chart gives me a pass, when I was so convinced that it was a fail from the beginning.

I want to know, if the Sun-Saturn opposition is responsible for this pass. Or whether, Saturn did in fact act as a collector of light.

One thing to note is that it took ages for the tutor to mark the essay. In a sense this is Saturn retrograde. Retrograde planets take time to do things.

Hello

For the benefit of people in future coming back to look at the thread for study purposes I thought I'd add a table of transits for ease of reference and clarity.

The list starts with the first aspect to become exact following the moment of the horary itself.

The list ends with the Sun conjoining Jupiter since it's referred to earlier in this thread.

All times are in the 24 hour clock and are local to Guayaqil in Ecuador.
