I guess I never gave a review of the conference!

Peace and Greetings to all the forum members,

Please excuse a extremely long hiatus I have taken from the forums personally as I have had little time outside of my own astrology practice and taking on the full-time workload of the MA degree offered by the Sophia Center. As soon as school began last fall I had so many other endeavors get interrupted that I soon forgot the extremely useful resources offered by the members here at skyscript!
I had also forgot that it was here on the forums that I learned about the MACAA! After attending the Celestial Spheres Conference in San Diego I began studying with Dr. NIcholas Campion and his insightful group of tutors and lecturers, who, incidentally, will be giving a similar conference in May on the East Coast of the US http://www.historyofastrology.org.uk/Events/Origins/, for those who did not get to attend last year. While the lectures may not be exactly the same, I believe there will be a presentation regarding the program at Trinity Saint David, which I am currently enrolled in, and a massive amount of great information offered! Dr. Campion and Bernedette Brady give a very detailed and thorough presentation of some of the course information offered through the MACAA program and I recommend it to those astrologers that are firm in their grasp of astrology and would enjoy learning more about the history and development of astrology, and cosmology in general, from an expert group of teachers and tutors. That being said, the grading standards are suited to a Master's level of writing and referencing with more emphasis on structure than substance so a background in research writing is helpful.
The Medieval Cosmos basis of the Conference last year in San Diego was very insightful and included take home translations and notes that are a wealth of knowledge alone. I recommend any interested in a presentation of Cosmological Wisdom from those within the academic realm, with a astrological background, will find the upcoming conference worth any trouble and travel.
