Horary course and diploma 1 by siraxi I would like to know more about taking a horary course and receiving a diploma in horary astrology. I am actually more interested in the diploma than in the course, as I feel that it would help me focus on studying getting a sound understanding of horary astrology. At this point, the information is readily available, all we need is patience to study it and time to assimilate it. As I surfed around on the internet, it seemed to me that every experienced and qualified horary astrologer can offer a qualifying course, however at different fees and offering a slightly different curricula. Could anyone shed some light on this? I'd like to know which courses or diplomas are the most widely acknowledged as the best in this field. Would you please recommend me a diploma course that offers an official certification. I'm not interested in natal astrology, only in horary and electional. Thank you very much. 2 by Tom There is some introductory material on the home page of this site, and I think Deb is giving a correspondence horary course. John Frawley may also still be taking horary students. To get a good grasp of horary, try John's newest book, The Horary Textbook. It is a valuable resource and as good or better than any contemporary text on the market. If you are going to take a course, you will, of course need William Lilly's Christian Astrology as well. Astrology is not an applied science so it isn't too difficult to understand why different astrologers would take different approaches. I don't see that as a problem, because horary, like all of astrology is not truly mechanistic. John and Deborah would take a more strictly traditional approach. Lee Lehman is thoroughly versed in traditional astrology, but is a bit more contemporary than John or Deb. My suggestion is to contact several and read some of their works, ask for references, and choose the one that you are most comfortable with.
