Considering that the chart is radical, Moon VOC, and Ajax is the strong favourite, I choice is Ajax.
I'll check you on this one - surely the Moon is not VOC at 5PI18, but maybe feral? Then I notice that the Sun casts it's antiscia to the IC. Ficina might have some ideas on whether that could benefit the underdog?

Looking at the statestics and current form it is diffiicult to see how Rosenborg are going to loose their match this evening. Maybe there isn't enough accurate matchspecific detail in the chart to take it away from the favourites?

Andrew, the Moon, of course, is within the orb of her previous aspect - opposition with Mercury, and according to the accepted standards we cannot say that she is VOC. But the aspect has gone. So far I have disregarded the Moon's passed aspects, unless she seperates from one significator and applies to another. Actualy, the passed aspects may import some history, but I doubt whether they have any influence on the result. Even if Moon is "feral" as you said, and inconjunct Sun, I consider that the radicality of the chart protects the fave and surprises are unlikely here, except the game AIK Stockholm - Rosenborg when I put emphasis on the colours (Saturn AIK - black; Moon Rosenburg - white).

Thank you, Janis, for reminding me of Mars', LHr, relationship to the CP ascendant in the AIK/Rosenborg chart. Radicality by exaltation is, in my mind, like an edge or a statement. Personally, I have given up the thought of AIK winning the match against Rosenborg. Instead I put the odds ? on some multiple scorline cominations: Aktobe - Hapoel Tel Aviv, 1-2(9.25)/ AIK - Rosenborg, 0-2(9.50) & Sandnes Ulf - Fredrikstad, 1-3(14.00).

It feels like lotto - but 2 right would give an exciting reward.

Good luck, Andrew. I hope today is your day and you deserve to get a good marriage anniversary prize. Actually, I also hardly believe that with radicality by exaltation AIK would get something out of this game. But I am trying the colour method and by it AIK playing in black is Saturn, but Rosenborg is Moon (white). In this symbolism Moon VOC is not a strong indication for the fave "nothing happens, i.e. the fave wins". If Rosenborg is Moon, she being VOC means that she is unable to perform something.
Actually I am working on the system how to build up the hierarchy of indicators which shall prevail, in particular if there are a number of games almost in the same place and time.

2 out of 3 right. Still not getting the scorelines correct - but the greatest puzzle is the result in the Aktobe - Hapoel Tel Aviv match. Well done Aktobe, but I thought the chart suggested Hapoel Tel Aviv would win. The Sun, LHr+L7 was trine the MC.

At least you, Andrew, got some right. Black day for me, all were wrong. I predicted a comfortable win for Ajax, but they draw (chart radical); draw for Partizan but they won (chart not radical). :-sk :cry: L7 trine to MC is not a reliable factor for the fave to win (besides the chart was not radical).

I noticed when you have L7 partile trine (orb not nore than degree) with ASC it is a strong indication for the fave, almost 2/3 of the games.

I didn't have time to look at any charts yesterday but I thought I'd check out this one because I agree that L7 trine MC usually favours the Desc team. However, I get an Asc of 1?29' Pisces, so L7 is Mercury, not Sun. Kick-off was 21.00 in Aktobe (5 hours ahead of GMT). In this chart Moon is just over 2? from Asc in 1st which is interesting. Like Janis, I wouldn't normally consider separating aspects but Moon separating from Mercury L7 (Hapoel) would be relevant in this case, given the outcome!

Are you sure about the Pisces ascendant, Ficinia? The game started at 16.00 GMT. I get a Pisces asc if calculating for 17.00 GMT. You are almost always right - and if you got it wrong this once - that would be the exception.

I'm still puzzled and frustrated about this game. There has to be a clear cut rule. If it were that the Aquarius ascendant, ruled by Saturn who is both a superior and an infortune would not submit to (and rather rejects) the Sun, LHr, who is more inferior and opposite of powers - then maybe that is an answer.

Like Ficinia I get an ascendant of 1PI30 using 1600 GMT. Note, some versions of the ACS atlas give an incorrect (old?) time zone for AKtobe.

How do you come to know if the chart is radical or not ? I am knew to this but i am aware of the traditional

2ndly what is the role of sun...as per traditional moon has more to do with the winning or loosing
