Atlantis' final landing

An Era in Space history is over. Atlantis, the final US Space shuttle, landed today - completing the American Space program. Here is the chart:
The Moon, Lady of the Ascendant, is in the South, applying to the opposition of Saturn in the 4th, End of matter. Venus, Lady of the 4th, is in the Ascendant. I always thought of outer space being ruled by the 12th house. It deals with either the void, that which is beyond reach or that which is larger than life. it is interesting how the dispositor of the Moon, Mars, is in the degree of the Moon's South node in Gemini on the cusp of the 12th. The South Node represents a vacuum. In view of the state of weightlessness and Mars conjunct the South node, there is very little to hang on to out there, isn't there?
