Pregnancy 1 by deeptiman Hi folks.Yesterday's night i was talking with a friend and as she knows that i'm a student of astrology she asked me:''look into the stars if someday will i beget children, please!".She is in concerned about pregnancy because she is thirty years old. Then i made an horary :jun,15,11:20 P.M the chart is radical:pisces ascending and querent has pisces sun sign.Moon lord of 5 is about to conjunct jupiter, lord 1.My big concern is venus, lord of 8 in aspect to Moon.A Prohibition or a translation of light?Cancer in 5 house is goo, because cancr is a very fruitful sign.Saturn in 5 is not good, but saturn is oriental to the Sun and ina fruitful sign too...In Decumbiture charts,a mutual reception between lord 8 and lor 1 is agood sign, canceals death,in horary maybe too.I look an horary chart about michael jackson's trial with mutual reception with a planet in house 12 and he is free... all the best "Life is a gift, enjoy" Quote Thu Jun 16, 2005 2:06 pm

Re: Pregnancy 3 by Taurus7 Hi folks.Yesterday's night i was talking with a friend and as she knows that i'm a student of astrology she asked me:''look into the stars if someday will i beget children, please!".She is in concerned about pregnancy because she is thirty years old. Then i made an horary Deeptiman, I think this is a question that is best left unanswered. The potential fruitfulness of a woman is perhaps better judged from her nativity. Furthermore, I think a horary should be based on some kind of activity that is ongoing in the person's life related to the question. For example, has she been trying to get pregnant and been unsuccessful? If she does not have the physical means to get pregnant (if you know what I mean) I don't think the question can have any meaning. But most important, if you come up with a negative answer, then you will have dashed this woman's hopes for life, and it will negatively affect her chances even if she can get pregnant. the chart is radical:pisces ascending and querent has pisces sun sign. The radicality of a chart, as I know it, is judged from several indications; one of them being the ascendant ruler corresponding to the hour ruler. I don't think what you say here is a true test of radicality. I do hope she gets pregnant, though! Quote Thu Jun 16, 2005 3:29 pm
Pregnancy 4 by deeptiman Hi Taurus, since this is a concern that brings suffering to her(some kind of psychological problem)maybe astrology can help, therefore this is a legitimate question.I will never tell her any kind of thing that may cause harm to her, only something that helps her. 5 by Sue Hi deeptiman, I think this is a perfectly valid question, particularly if it is of deep concern to your friend and is causing her some difficulties. I think horary is a very good way to answer questions of this nature. I have seen horary astrologers base the radicality of the chart on a relationship with the querent's natal chart before but I am not sure I agree with it. However, your chart is radical as the planetary hour is Jupiter. The fact that there is an aspect between the Moon and Venus is not prohibition. The Moon (ruler of the 5th) will make a conjunction with Jupiter (ruler of the 1st and significator of your friend) before it makes any other aspects. This is a good sign. Saturn is in the 5th suggesting possible difficulties or delays. But there is reception between Saturn and the Moon by rulership and exaltation. The Moon is also the strongest planet in this chart. Venus is in the 5th house and is aspected by square with the Moon. However, there is strong reception between the two planets, including being in each other's rulership. Why do you think she is in the 8th house? It is sometimes difficult to look at charts of this nature when you know your friend is relying on you to help her understand her situation and you only want the best for her. Since it is your chart, you are the only one who can truly understand it. If you are confident in your judgement and as honest with her as you can be you won't go wrong. Pregnancy 6 by deeptiman Thank's for your reply,Sue.I don't see my friend in house 8,Moon and lord 1 are in seventh house, but both planets are in proximity with 8 house(maybe shows signs of anxiety).I think that the chart support the possibility of a future pregnancy and i will look her natal chart for a confirmation. 7 by Sue Hi deeptiman, Unless I have made a mistake in the calculations of the chart, Jupiter is in the 8th house. I have the 8th house cusp at 12 deg and Jupiter at 9 deg. Any planet within 5 deg of a house cusp is deemed to be in the following house. Perhaps it relates to her anguished state of mind over this matter. The Moon is in the 7th house. In the body, the womb and reproductive organs belong to the 7th house. The Moon is strong so it could suggest that physically she is capable of having children. Difficulties might arise due to her state of mind. Of course this also depends on the person she chooses to have children with. Quote Fri Jun 17, 2005 1:33 am
8 by Taurus7 I think this is a perfectly valid question, particularly if it is of deep concern to your friend and is causing her some difficulties. I think horary is a very good way to answer questions of this nature. With all due respect to Sue, (and believe me, I consider myself nothing but a novice compared to the experience of all the other astrologers at this forum, including Sue), while it may be a valid question (and Lilly provides an example in CA that provides guidelines on how to judge such a question), I still maintain what I said, primarily because a similar question was asked back in May 2004: http://skyscript.co.uk/forums/viewtopic ... 46&start=0 Note in particular the comments that Deb made about her sister, and her follow-up: To some extent I have mixed views on your question above. My sister suffered terrible emotional anguish in her attempts to become a mother. and the post from Ficina within the same thread: Horary works best with specific questions, not the "will I ever" type of questions. "Will I ever have children?" "Will I ever get married?" These kind of questions are just too vague. For someone perhaps who has been trying for a long time to have children and it hasn't happened, then a question along the lines of "is there a medical problem" or something like that would be more productive because it is addressing something specific. But to each his own....You may find this post productive reading and wish to consider assessing her birth chart, particularly along the guidelines that Tom has provided. All the best to the lady, hope she gets pregnant! - Taurus7 - Quote Fri Jun 17, 2005 2:42 am
9 by Sue There is no right or wrong answer to this situation and it is best to judge each case on its merits. Each astrologer has to make their own decisions on what they will answer and what they will not answer. There may be reasons for not answering this question but only Deeptiman can make the decision as to whether he feels comfortable answering such a question. If I was asked this question then I would first determine whether this person is fully prepared to accept the answer. Many people ask questions and are not prepared for the answer. If I thought this was the case then I wouldn't answer it. Deeptiman's post did not make clear whether this woman had been trying to have children or not. If the friend is suffering psychological difficulties because of this then perhaps it is better for her to know. Sometimes it is the not knowing that causes the most difficulties. If she genuinely wants to know the answer and is prepared to accept the answer no matter what it is then it might be more beneficial for her to know. If she is asking just for the hell of it then I would be less inclined to answer it. I know a couple who asked this question of an astrologer (not me) because they were nearing the age limit for adoption and desperately wanted to know if they would have their own children. They had reason to believe that it might not be possible for them to have their own. They were prepared to hear the answer and wanted to be able to adopt if they were unable to have children of their own. The answer was that they were unable to have children so they went ahead with adoption and are very happy with two children. If they had waited or if the astrologer had refused to answer the question it is likely they would have been unable to adopt, causing much more distress than the potentially negative answer from the astrologer. There are times I would answer this question and times when I wouldn't. If it was causing major distress to someone and they were asking for my help then I would find it difficult to refuse. Horary astrology has the potential to be of great help, which is why I make the effort to develop my skills. I understand the difficulties that might be faced when someone asks a question of vital importance. I probably would not do it for a close family member because of my lack of objectivity. But the biggest issue for me is whether the person asking is asking from a genuine need to know and an understanding that the answer might not be what they want to hear. If they understand this then I would answer the question. Quote Fri Jun 17, 2005 4:51 am
