Querent is Saturn in Libra, Conjunct POF & Spica

Hi Skyscript~

I'm posting a chart I found interesting. I've never seen the querent in a position like this before and I have read all the articles on this site on Spica and POF. Now if Saturn in Libra is on the MidHeaven and conjunct POF and Spica simultaneously, what is the power of this querent here? That's my question.

Here is the chart:

This querent's question is 'will i get a reply from him?' and it seems so simple but it has been hard getting information on the situation as the querent's english is almost non-existent. :( From what I've gathered, she sent him a gift and was wondering if he'll reply in response. It's a love interest of the querent, so he is 7th house of course, she is Saturn in that intersting place. It looks like separating signifactors and she should not get a response, but a response she did get and it was quite good.

What are your thoughts on this, Forum? I've never seen this before.

Hello Talia -

I just thought I should mention that the querent is not on the MC. Saturn is in the 9th house. Perhaps you are a beginner - the MC is in Scorpio with the Sun angular. The title of this thread is therefore misleading, as it mentions Saturn on the MC. I say this because when someone searches for specific keywords in the forum, they might be frustrated that this thread does not have Saturn at the MC. Also, I am not sure what the question is - by you or the querent. Please clarify. Are you asking us to interpret the outcome or discuss an exalted sigfnificator conjunct the PoF and Spica in general? If you wish to start a discussion about the situation we would need some background. "Will he respond?" is very vauge. Perhaps you could share your analysis and explain what transpired.

Hi Talia,

I don't think you should join the 1st with the 7th here. The question is not "will I get him", but "will I get a reply from him".
His reply would be Venus - the 3rd from the 7th. Venus is moving towards a sextile to Saturn (the querent). So, it's a "yes".

Thank you for you reply which had led me to look further and into some charts I could find online. Seems some answer by looking for main signifactor aspect contact. I found a chart that I think explains this online and tried to apply it.

It has main signifactors not applying but querent's 3rd about to sqaure quesited with strong reception. I think its a yes if I look at it the way you're advising.

The best example posted online I could find in the chart above. Asking will he reply, the quesited communication ruler, Venus will square the querent. I think its a yes then. She may not be pleases of the reply, but it is bound to happen, correct?

Another question came to mind. How are intercepted houses dealt with? Here quesited is Sun intercepted too. Querent's interception is the same so no matter. But is Sun to be taken into account as well?

Sorry. How do I change the title?

Hi Talia,

regarding the chart above, if the question was specifically about the reply, the answer would be yes - the querent is Saturn, really showing he cares about getting that message - Saturn is on cusp 9, and Venus is about to aspect Saturn and conjunct the AC. But, I don't think that the square means that the querent will not be pleased with it. I see it as a delay or difficulty in getting the reply, that's all. The querent will love what he/she gets to hear, because Saturn in Libra loves Venus.

As for the interceptions... I don't think that the querent's partner is the Sun, but the Moon - the DC is in Cancer. But, even if it were - the Sun is not intercepted. Leo is intercepted. The querent is not intercepted either - the querent is Saturn, not Aquarius.

Excellent. Thank you for your time here. Its making sense to me, although I admit I forgot that a square is not necessarily the "difficult content" of the message, but the way of the message (with "difficulty"/delay). I did memorize the Bonnatti Table of Perfection just now. Anyway, I think that's what you mean. Super. Thanks a whole bunch for the help! It's inspiring!

About the intercepted question. I misstated and thank you for correcting. What I really meant to ask about is, is the querent or quesited in any way shown by the ruler of their intercepted signs? Are those signs or planets ruling describing their hidden nature in some way? And lastly, if their intercepted rulers meet, (I think I know the answer is no) does that make an thing come to them?

I realize that it's tempting to take the rulers of the intercepted signs in a house as significators, especially if they are about to make an aspect. My experience with this is - there is a REASON why the cusp is in Cancer, and not in Leo, for example... I don't think there is such thing as a co-ruler, so I never use them.

I pay attention to a significator in an intercepted sign if it makes sense within the context of the question. For example, recently I looked at a chart "Is X (a missing person, suspected to have been murdered) dead?", and the planet representing X was in the 4th house, in an intercepted sign - dead and buried, no way out. In another chart (about a kidnapped child), the planet signifying the victim was in the 12th house in an intercepted sign - again, hidden, and no way out... Or, a person who is stuck in a certain situation, and has a feeling of "I can't get out of this" is often shown by a planet in an intercepted sign. I know this was not your question, I just wanted to share some observations...

I agree with what Gigi said. I never look at planets that rule the signs which are intercepted, unless perhaps they are the next planet to be aspected by/aspect primary significators or if they are in the houses of querent or quesited. Intercepted signs are generally viewed as hidden matters anyway, which is not the most beneficial influence in romance questions (most people do not want their relationships or feelings to be hidden away or discarded).

Also, yes, the Sun and Saturn will aspect, but Venus on the ASC squares Saturn first (prohibition between Sun and Saturn). So, even if you regarded it, it would not be an aspect of perfection. You said you got this example online, but did it actually have an outcome? Charts without outcomes are not a great learning tool.

When primary significators are in aversion, there is generally a fundamental problem - the two people are not on the same page about their connection. Moon in Virgo, waning (decreasing in light), in a day chart is very un-fruitful and not very romantic, IMO. There is nothing that brings their two planets together. The Moon is leaving an influence that is not great (Mercury, the 8th ruler in detriment but angular) and is applying to a peregrine, out of sect malefic on the 8th house cusp (Mars). This would likely signify a disappointment or ending (if not immediately, at least forthcoming). The ASC is also late, agreeing with this.
