Confusing Vibes...

Hi :D ,

a few minutes ago I have asked a horary question:

"Does he fancy me and will this develop into something more serious or is it only some short-lived infatuation?"

30.6.2005, at 23:01 local time, 34e46, 32n04.

The ascendant was at 6 degrees Pisces 27'33".

In the first house of Pisces is Uranus (retrograde), a few degrees from the ascendant.

Jupiter is in Libra, in the 7th house (Virgo/Libra).

Sun, Saturn and Venus are in the 5th house in Cancer.

Mercury is in the 6th house in Leo close to the 5th house.

Well, it seems that I do like him in a way (Jupiter in the 7th house), his indicators are in the 5th - the house of romance...:???:

I am still unable to read more into the aspects of the planets which have to be taken into consideration in the horary questions...:???:

I will appreciate your help very much,
thank you,
LittleMermaid :) .

I always thought this too. That is, with the querent's significator in the 7th it means he or she is interested while the quesited's significator in the 1st means that the quesited is interested. But I was reading Lilly a few days ago and he says that he does not agree with this. He says that if the quesited's significator is in the 1st it means the querent is more interested and vice versa. I think this was on p 317 in CA or around there. This doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I haven't looked in CA for examples yet.

"do like him in a way..." haha. that's an understatement. with your significator in the 7th I would say that you are totally into him!..
I haven't looked at the chart, but this seems to be true only if the significator is within a few degrees of the cusp. If that's the case, then I agree with the above with all due respect to Mr. Lilly.

Mercury is in the 6th house in Leo close to the 5th house.
We have a saying in English (maybe just in America?) ?Close but no cigar.? Meaning that it?s close, but not close enough to be a winner. Mercury is really very much in the 6th house.

To me the basics of this chart are that Little Mermaid is the ASC ruler, which is Jupiter and her guy is the 7th house ruler Mercury. They are in mutual reception by triplicity, which shows friendship more than a romance, but hey, that?s not bad at all. Even better that that, they are in an applying sextile, only a degree apart.

But there is something that caught by eye right away and that is that traveling tightly with Mercury, just behind it, is Venus. Venus is moving faster right now than Mercury, so this aspect is applying. They are so close that a split second after Mercury makes that sextile with Jupiter, Venus will also make a sextile. What could Venus be? My gut feeling tells me there is another woman who he?s either eying or involved with. It must not be a deep or long lasting thing because there is no reception at all between the two of them. Venus also rules the 8th house, so other than representing a woman, Venus could represent that he is dealing with some kind of loss or anxiety. If I were to guess, I?d say that there is some other woman involved here though.

The Moon has just separated from being square with Mercury. I think that shows either your recent meeting or your recent infatuation. The position of the Moon says that you?re still very much in this period of infatuation but that you?re moving on. The applying sextile between the two of you shows that there is a chance for a real friendship to develop.

Uranus is very close to the ASC so you might be in for a surprise or a shock. Maybe that relates to the possibility of another woman.

So all and all, this is not a bad situation. It doesn?t look like a romance though.

Hi all of you :D ,

thank you very much for helping me to interpret it!

I think it could be a good friendship but it seems there are some mutual vibes as well - so you know - it got met thinking that perhaps this friendship could develop into something else....you never know...:-?

I know about the 'other woman' (he is married to be more precise) - but I am not sure if their relationship is going well (my gut feeling is that perhaps not) - I definitely could feel some anxiety on his side - as MarkF has spotted very well in addition to the 'other woman' 8).

Thank you again very much,
LittleMermaid :D .

I don't think that this chart shows a real possiblity for that to happen. Look at that separating aspect between the Moon and Mercury. It's still very close but it is moving on. That's what you're in right now. You're still in the period of infatuation but you're moving on, whether you feel that right now or not.

Just a thought here, but your planet Jupiter is also separating from an opposition from Mars. Mars rules the 9th house, which is your spiritual side. Perhaps this shows that this guy has not been a good thing for you as a spiritual person. I am not 100% sure of that reading though. Mars also could just be a military person too. Is he in the Army?

Hi MarkF :) ,

thanks for your analysis. It seems more like a possible friendship than a romance - that is fine with me - he is married anyway 8)...But my gut feeling is telling me that he does not feel so good in his marriage...he has never spoken about his wife much except for once...:-?

He is not in the military, he is more intellectual kind of a guy than some macho type of a man. I would not say he is the most spiritual man I have met but he is not an ignorant person either 8).

And now I have a question which is connected to my previous post
"Romantic Telepathy Horary". I have asked if some other guy thinks of me and if we will meet again...The answer was "yes" and also that we should meet again. Do you think you can read from that chart when we might meet again (or maybe some other additional insights) :-??

Again I will appreciate your help very much,
LittleMermaid :D .

Your chart has nothing to do with this next bit, but married guys seldom talk about their wives to women they are hitting on. Or if they do, it's all doom and gloom, "she doesn't understand me." I wouldn't make too much of it. However, he might make a good friend. I don't think that marital problems make someone a bad friend.

Hi MarkF :D,

thank you for your comment, believe me that I do know that too...I have thought that perhaps he is separated from his wife or on his way to divorce (which might show up in the horary chart), therefore I have brought up this question. In other case I would try to think rationally 8) .

I am going to back to watch "Live 8",

Again, just as a bit of common sense advice, even if he separates from his wife, they still may get back together, especially if there are kids involved. I've seen that happen a lot. He may end up getting divorced but only after making a series of separations and reconcilliations.

Your chart shows that Venus, presumably his wife, is applying to be conjunct with him. This looks like they will get back together. But... Jupiter frustrates that aspect. It's very tight, but look at it with Solar Fire or something like that. Venus is applying to be conjunct with Mercury. But before that happens, first Mercury is sextile Jupiter (you), which means that you get in the way of the two of them getting together. Lilly calls this situation frustration and it's a way that stops or hinders something from happening.

But notice that this does nothing to help you and him get together, it just basically causes trouble for the wife.

Hi MarkF :) ,

thank you for your advice, I know that one must be carefull with the married men in general...8) Considering his marriage - they do not have any kids yet. I must say that again I am surprised how the horary charts are so accurate - especially if you are enough skilled how to interpret them :D .
