(Sun in the trip of Mars and exaltation of Jupiter). The Sun is the judge,(ruling 10th), Mars is the querent, and Jupiter - ruling her 2nd and 5th - represents her assets (financial, material, as well as her lawyer) and her children. This is a translation by t-square so one would expect difficulties but what I see is the judge bringing the children to the mother, via her lawyer. This, I realise, is a highly over-simplified version of the situation, but in essence all the elements are there. Wow! You're right..I understand that it is the translating planet that must be in one of the dignities of the other two for this to be a valid translation? It's very clear, the translation, amazing how I didn't notice that in the least!!! So the Sun (judge) is moving away from a square from Jupiter and coming to a square with Mars. So it is taking the "light" from Jupiter (her children, assets) and transferring it to Mars (querent). Not sure how you came to "via the lawyer" conclusion? What does this have to do with the husband being charged? Ok well, if Maurice McCann is correct in saying that planets tied into a translation of light are "locked into" that pattern and cannot partake in any other pattern, then this translation involving Jupiter prevents Mercury (his lawyer) from connecting with Jupiter So you're saying once the planets have gotten "involved" in the translation (because the sun has already separatied from the square to jupiter and is now applying to Mars), any other applying aspects from other planets are locked out? Ok I also realise that the Sun is about to trine Uranus which spoils the translation, but I submit that the same rule applies, and the Sun cannot "talk" to Uranus because he (the Sun) is involved in this "gang of three." The test here would be to ask you has anything distinctly Uranian (sudden, disruptive, shocking) occured in the man's life since the question was asked? Not to my knowledge; as a matter of fact, I understand his life is pretty much back to normal because he simply went back to his home, the same house that is being occupied by the mother. He refuses to move out. They are both being very "civil" to each other, because each of them know that if they do anything disruptive to the other, one could get a restraining order against the offending party, and he/she would get thrown out of the house. But why did you "assign" the disruption of Uranus to the husband? Amazing how life is, huh? Quote Sat Jul 23, 2005 10:57 pm
14 by Pete I understand that it is the translating planet that must be in one of the dignities of the other two for this to be a valid translation? Yes that's right. The translator must have something in common with the other two, ie: be in a dignity of both. Not sure how you came to "via the lawyer" conclusion? Well Jupiter rules her 2nd house: her assets, and these include her lawyer, and I would imagine, anyone who is acting in her interest in the matter. So you're saying once the planets have gotten "involved" in the translation (because the sun has already separatied from the square to jupiter and is now applying to Mars), any other applying aspects from other planets are locked out? if we're going to be absolutely accurate I'm not saying it, Maurice McCann is and I'm quoting him. He seems pretty sure about the principle though, and says he's tested it in many charts and seen it work. But why did you "assign" the disruption of Uranus to the husband? Hah! Now that I look at this again I can't for the life of me think why! Amazing how life is, huh? Yes, and when I see the way a really good horary mirrors and describes so well the course of an event I never fail to shake my head in wonder! == Pete Quote Sun Jul 24, 2005 9:49 am
