As to the match-fixing there are several levels or sections in my opinion, at least:
1. the opponents in open fight.
2. the cheating contra the opponents
3. the cheating contra the own team, because not the whole team is involved in fixing the match, but only some members of it.
4. the spectators
5. the puntors and the bookmakers.

In this context our interest is focussed on 2. and 3. mainly.
Team members of the AC cheating are the private enemies of the DC and thus should -if at all- be visible in the 12th from DC as the DC's private enemies.
Team members of the DC cheating should then -if at all- be visible in the 12th from the AC as the AC's private enemies.

This abstract delineation seems to be in contradiction to that of Andrew (partly) and that of Goca a little earlier in this thread, and possibly it was worth discussing the difference of both?

It would appear that you expand the concept of match fixing to include the several ways in that a constest is spoilt? An erronous referee judgement can also spoils a match. I wouldn't be suprized to learn that a few bob had been passed under the table in that fashion, too.

Either way we agree that the topic should be discussed and that it describes an aspect of the quality of the game. Thank you for picking up on the matter.
