Hi Waybread! Thank you for voicing your appreciation so generously!

Some of these texts are indeed rare and expensive.

The complete bound run of Alfred Pearce's third astrological journal "Star Lore and Future Events" (31 issues) cost me $800 (reduced from the seller's excessive asking price of $1200), and it's the only complete set I have seen for sale.

The first volume of Pearce's second journal "The Future" was AUS$300 about five years ago. Since then, a much cheaper copy appeared (just ?60), but I had no way of knowing that in advance. The complete set that eventually came on the market was priced at a more reasonable $195 (last year) - something of a bargain, in my opinion, though the binding was a bit roughed up.

Pearce's first journal "Urania" was $200 - in a state requiring total rebinding.

Typical prices fetched by complete two-volume sets of the first edition of Pearce's "Text-Book of Astrology" are in the order of $300 / ?200 (two sale results in 2006) - but they come on the market very seldom.

Individual volumes of "Modern Astrology" magazine vary in price, but somewhere in the region of ?75 / $100 per volume is somewhat typical for relatively early volumes. Late volumes can sometimes be cheaper if they are sold in isolation rather than as part of a large set. You very rarely see substantial runs advertised for sale.

I still haven't collected all of this magazine, lacking some of the last issues from the late 1930s and early 1940s, but have been quite fortunate otherwise in amassing a near-complete collection. Only one volume had been commercially reprinted when I last checked.

I have just brought the index in the first message fully up to date, including links to a host of additional presentations added since March, as well as a couple of complete scans. The album "Wall Photos" is newly updated, with many additional one-off astrological scans added since March now newly visible to 'friends of friends'.

Atlantean, if you don't have a Facebook account or do but are not connected with any of the astrologers I am (e.g. Deb, Mark, Margherita, Tom Callanan, Kim Farnell) on Facebook, then all the links will be unavailable, since they are visible by 'friends of friends' only.

The only way around that is to make friends with at least one such person on Facebook - or send me a friend request and I'll gladly accept. My account is on solger@comhem.se. If it is not working for some other technical reason then I'm surprised as you're the first person to mention this to me. All the links work fine for me, or did when I last checked them.
