Sunday September 23.

The astrology today seems slightly messy and unfocused with the Moon coming off Pluto in Capricorn and the Sun in his fall in Libra in inconjunct aspect with Neptune. Still, there are a lot of exciting games with individual starting times and I want to examine a few of them as an exercise, and maybe back them with a few pennies, too.

Scotland
Aberdeen - Motherwell
, 12.45 BST
Odds: 2,41 3,18 2,90
Asc 26SC17 MC 26VI37 Moon 9CP31 POF 4PI57 POS 17LE37
Day Sun, Hour Jupiter - not radical

In this match I notice that Motherwell are not favourites by odds. There is not a lot of conviction in the chart but the Ascendant is sextile the MC through signs of long ascension, while the Des is trine MC. Both Mars, L1, and Venus, L7, are cadent - yet both in the terms of Venus. Mars is in the 12th from the 1st, yet in the same sign - so this it will be interesting to see whether Aberdeen can find a way. Algol is on the cusp of the 7th and the Moon is in Capricorn - and this could be enough to make a Mother feel unWell. Yet, Taurus on the 7th is the exaltation of the Moon and Venus, L7, is conjunct the Part of Spirit. So Motherwell may be the Heros of the day and I am liable to give them the upper hand.

Premier League
Liverpool - ManU,
14.30 BST
Odds: 2,71 3,22 2,65
Asc 7SG05 MC 7LI55 Moon 9CP57 POF 16PI09
Day Sun, Hour Jupiter - radical

In this chart the Lord of the Hour rules the Ascendant and the tightest aspect is Jupiter's square cast to POF through signs of short ascension. Uranus is not far from the IC and Pluto is square the MC. Both teams are Scorpio-ruled. If Jupiter is signifer of the home team, then Liverpool get it. If radicality and POF in aspect with her dispositor, and with Jupiter being a benefic, represents the favourite - then the game sways to ManU. Both Jupiter and Mercury are in angular houses, which could give some early action. I'm not playing this game, but looking!

Norwegian 1st division
Kongsvinger - Sandefjord,
15.00 CEST
Odds: 2,36 3,32 2,72
Asc 14SG37 MC 1SC57 Moon 10CP15 POF 23PI58
Day Sun, Hour Sun - radical by 2 types of triplicity and powers

In this chart there is a strong argument of radicality, yet there is that factor of triplicity that often likes a draw. Jupiter, L1, is angular on the 7th, while Mercury, L7, is cadent. Yet, Mercury is in the same sign as the Lord of the Hour, antiscia Fortuna is opposite Uranus and the Moon is in Capricorn, which gives bearing of a FJORD. I am moving away from the favourites by odds and going with SANDEFJORD. We'll see how that one works out!

Premier League
Newcastle - Norwich,
15.00 BST
Odds: 1,71 3,70 4,84
Asc 23SG51 MC 3SC27 Moon 10CP49 POF 3AR43
Day Sun, Hour (Sun) Venus - Guards on the Bridge

In this chart I have the Planetary Hour on the change and the the question is whether the Angels of Venus are fully allocated, or whether the Guards are caught on the Bridge. Jupiter, L1, and Mercury, L7, are both cadent. Yet, I have the Moon in sign with Pluto and Scorpio on the MC (Norway-Norwich). The degree of the Moon's fall is on the MC, so maybe there is some lift for the underdog. The Moon applies to the Lord of the 7th by square. Everything being said, I am wondering whether Norwich can capture points in this game - and maybe a draw.

Norwegian Tippeliga
Brann - Rosenborg
, 19.00 CEST, Bergen
Odds: 2,66 3,41 2,45
Asc 1PI01 MC 23SG49 Moon 12CP33 POF 12GE29
Day Sun, Hour Saturn - radical by triplicity with Jupiter

Brann have not lost any of their 5 last home matches, while Rosenborg have the possibility of snatching the lead in the Norwegian premier league. The chart shows Saturn, LHr, in the same sign as Mercury, L7, and Mercury is trine Fortuna. So the chart gives advantage to the guests, in my opinion, but it will be exciting! Maybe I will wait to see how this game starts from the opening nd whether there is an oportunity that seems worth while... We'll see! :)

Here's a game I didn't play or enter in my previous post, but I have in my notes a possible draw...

The Netherlands
ADO Den Haag - Ajax,
12.30 CEST
Odds: 6.89 4.67 1.39
Asc 21SC52 MC 13VI09 Moon 8CP48 POF 29AQ51
Day Sun, Hour Saturn - not radical

Mars is in his own sign and conjunct the ascendant, which is a lift for the home heam. The chart is not radical - look out for the underdog. Fortuna is on the cusp of Pisces, where is Neptune. Venus, L7, applies to a square of Mars through signs of long ascension. Either way, the underdog scored an early goal and the match ended 1-1. It would have been a nice start to the day, but the art is not to back every horse! :) Match report: Link

Match Report:
Aberdeen - Motherwell; 3-3
I backed Motherwell with ?20 ahead of the kick-off at the odds of 3:1. Yet, Aberdeen scored in the 6th minute of the game and I was soon out of the money. It looked like Mother-Unwell, still my conviction was stuck with the guests and if they did turn the match around the WOULD be Hero's of the Day - as signified by Venus, L7, conjunct the Part of Spirit. I added another ?7 to my stake at the odds of 11:1 and entered at the perfect moment. In the 41st minute came the equalizer and then 3 minutes after the break Motherwell took a 1-2 lead. Uranus was on the IC. At this time I decided there was enough money on the board and decided to close my position with a ?75 profit (of a maximum ?115). The game ended 3-3 with Aberdeen equalizing in overtime. I did well in securing my profit! :D :' Match report: Link

Liverpool - ManU; 1-2
Liverpool have only got 10 men on the pitch with Shelvey being given a red card in the 39th minute. But Gerrard scores for Liverpool in the 2nd minute after the break and Liverpool were one goal ahead before Rafael (Mercury?) equalizes for ManU 5 min later! The only thing we get out of this game is an evaluation of testimonies. Match report: Link

Kongsvinger - Sandefjord; 2-0 :,
King's-wings get it, while Sandy-fjord have a bad day...

Newcastle - Norwich; 1-0
Rather unexciting match... I took my chips off the table in the middle of the 2nd half and went for a run instead!

Brann - Rosenborg 2-1!! :o
Match report: Link
I was backing Rosenborg but decided to take a ?45 profit at the moment as Brann decided to bring on Bard Finne. The subsitute scored 2 goals in 5 minutes.

This was a funny day with a lot of unusual turn-arounds. I will blame the Sun inconjunct Neptune. First, Aberdeen recaptured 2 goals on Motherwell, then ManU turned the tables against Liverpool from 1-0 to 1-2. Tottenham turned 0-1 against QPR to a 2-1 victory. Haugesund were trailing both 0-1 and 1-2 to underdogs Sandnes/Ulf before turning the game to a 3-2 win. And Rosenborg were 1 up on Brann before the home team snatched it in the final minutes.

I fail to have predicted a single result, except the game first game in Holland that I didn't back. All the same, I seem to have understood the background scene and the flow of the games. I am up ?50!! :lala

The Sun in Libra inconjunct Neptune in Pisces has demonstrated some sort of abnormality, together with a weakness and lack of staying power. This appears to be the background learnt from today's match performance.

Considering that the Sun was in its fall together with the Moon in its detriment, both lights are weakened - and this is also often the indication of betrayal or matters that abort.

Monday's game in the Danish Superleague should be good;

Aab - Esbjerg, 19.00 CEST, Aalborg
Odds: 1.68 3.67 4.78
Asc 26PI15 MC 28SG57 Moon 26CP17 POF 20CN29
Day Moon, Hour Sun - radical by tripl. with Jupiter

The Lord of the Hour, the Sun, will cast his antiscia to the ascendant in the first minute of play. This will give it to the home-team favourites, I am sure.

The 2nd semi-final in the Norwegian cup was played today between Brann, sho are in 4th position in the elite division, and Hodd, who are in 12th position in the 1. division [2nd division in the Norwegain system].

Hodd - Brann, 16.00 CEST, Ulsteinvik 62N20, 5E53
Odds: 4.06 3.77 1.74
Asc 19SG26 MC 15SC06 Moon 4PI42 POF 19TA16
Day Jupiter, Hour Mars - radical by shared powers with ascendant

There is nothing in this chart. The only exact applying and maybe valid 'aspect' is the inconjunct between the Piscian Moon and the Sun in Libra. Over the fast few days we have seen several 'defects' and lack of staying power as the Sun was inconjunt Neptune.

The game started with Brann, the favourites by oods, taking the lead in the 17th minute. Before Hodd equalized with a spectacular goal by 16 YEAR OLD FREDRIK AURSNES!! :' The home team was cheered on with a full stadium carrying 6000 SPECTATORS (!!!)
[normally 6-700...] and the UNDERDOGS WON 3-1!!

It is a wonder to behold! Congratulations! :) :'

I have in my notes (link) that the type of radicality as shown in the last match is regulated by the nature of the lord of the ascendant. Having seen Hodd beat Brann it could be interesting to monitor several matches and see whether this type of radicality us regulated by the nature of the lord of the ascendant on behalf of the ascendant. Jupiter brought luck to the home team, but I would like to see a case where the lord of the ascendant was an infortune - and maybe this was not so good.

The cooperation of the lord of the ascendant is important. Again refering to my notes, I have that when the lord of the hour and the lord of the ascendant have the same powers, then this is more like a mutual consent between planets where the lord of the hour receives an 'ok' to administer the chart on his terms.

Good notes, Andrew. :'

In general, which I will discuss in detail in my own thread, the condition of the lord of hour shows the fortification or weakness of the favourite.

There is no cooperation at all between the lord of hour and the lord of ASC, whether they share the same powers or not, if they are inconjunct each other as the case was (Jupiter - Gemini, Mars - Scorpio). Usually, the inconjunction of the lord of hour to the lord of ASC or the ascending sign itself has a tendency to produce a draw rather than a win for the underdog, but it is obvious that it has a nature of harming the fave.

Like you, I would assign Jupiter to Hodd (blue kit) and Mars (red) to Brann if I follow directly my method. Jupiter is better positioned (in a stake sign) whilst Mars is in the 12th sign from the rising sign. His essential force means little here, as he is both inconjunct the rising sign and the lord of hour.

Alternative significator for Brann (fire) is the Sun. In have in my notes that Brann had been very sensitive with respect to the condition of the Sun (so, the team definitely has the Sun's (Leo's) quality and influence).

Not only your knowledge of astrology, but also your understanding of the Norwegian language ('Brann=fire') is quite impressive. It might be as I say, despite the challange in astrology and fottball lies the opportunity to find things on the way.

Saturday, 28. september

Manchester Utd - Tottenham, 17.30 BST
Odds: 1.57 3.96 5.86
Asc 21AQ31 MC 15SG20 Moon 1AR43 POF 16LE18
Day Saturn, Hour Sun - radical by triplicity

The LHr, Sun, is in the same sign as L1, Saturn, but even more important the Suni is closest related to Mercury, L4. Jupiter, L10, is on the cusp of the 4th house. The Sun, LHr, is opposite Uranus. What does this mean? POF is trine the MC, but this occurs through the signs of long ascension. Experience shows that this may represent a health hazard (one one the projects I am working on). Can the result be moved away from the home team favourite, and if so - how far? Either way I will not be putting money on ManU this Saturday...

I agree. In fact I have already put money on the draw :)

The English Premier League matches at 1500 BST on Saturday are interesting. We have Jupiter (LH) inconjunct the ascendant (for those matches with Capricorn rising), and we have a T-square of Sun opposition Uranus both square Pluto in H1 near the ascendant. In the past, Pluto on the ascendant in H1 has favoured the underdogs. The whole configuration makes me expect some upsets in the 1500 matches.

Friday's Norwegian Tippeliga match between Rosenborg and Haugesund ended 5-2!!
Where on Earth did all the goals come from? How to predict the scoreline?

Rosenborg - Haugesund, 19.00 CEST Trondheim
Odds: 1.39 4.65 7.10
Asc 25AR19 MC 3CP01 Moon 19PI16 POF 8LI37
Day Venus, Hour Mars - radical
Match report: Link 5-2 !!

The Moon is intercepted in multiple Pisces in the 12th. When it rains, it rains! There seems to be several examples the last week where Pisces has revealed exposiure. The Lord of the hour is Lord of the ascendant, fortified in his own sign and intercepted in the 7th house of the opponent. Lady of the 7th, Venus, is below the horizon and coming off the square of Mars, but confronted with her aspect to Algol. Venus too is intercepted. Maybe interception doubles the suprize?

Interesting observations, but still it doesn't explain it all. :?
