The horary question is whether someone should start a website selling clothes (made by a company he knew previously). I need some help clarifying which house rules this matter, and would appreciate all comments.

Is it the 10th being a business? I hesitate here because this is a side business and not a career.

I went back looking at past discussions, and found some notes suggesting that the 5th house rules fashion. Or is it the 9th house of publishing as a website is a form of publishing?

I know I really should decide which house first before casting the chart, but in this case, I look to the chart to see if it helps with some pointers to describe the situation. Here is the chart

If I take the 5th house, ruler is Saturn in the 10th house: Somewhat relevant as a business question?

If I take the 9th house, ruler is Mercury, also in the 10th. Interesting?

Also good signs
- Libra rising, ruler for querent is Venus, also at 6Lib35 near the Asc
- Jupiter in the 1st house, also near the Asc
- first Moon aspect is a trine to Mercury, last aspect is a trine to Sun

But then, if I take it as a 10th house question, the ruler is the Moon at 10Ari42, already past an opposition to Venus (past business association?), and the answer seems to be a NO.

First catch your hare - what is the question. I can never sort out houses until I've sorted out what the question really is, and this should have been determined before asking it as I've learnt. In this case, I believe the question is "Will ? be successful in this project".

Therefore successful = money
This project = selling clothes on the internet. I don't believe this is the crux of the question, therefore these are the furphys.

So the question is about ? and his/her money. But who is ?

We need to know how you set the chart. In other words who is ? (?) If you ask on behalf of the querent "will I be successful....?" then they are Lord 1 and Lord 2.

If you asked the question "will X be successful..." then they are Lord 7 (other person, even if they are a colleague) and their money Lord 8.

If you asked the question "will my friend X be successful..." then Lords 11 and 12.
