The POF has been ignored by astrologers for a long time.
I have read a few things about it in Hellenic Astrology books and articles but often the message is contradictory or blurred.
Suppose someone has it in second house , the house of gains will then be the 12th, a rather confusing,introvert, subversive one.On top of that,the 12th lord is in 8th. The lord of POF ,the Moon,is in 10. Sounds like a mix of obscurity and being in the spotlight. I have a client with such configuration.
How would you think the native makes money?

The Lot of Fortune roughly describes the material 'stuff' we're born with - it is our 'lot'. This includes primarily the body and our general material resources within our life (particularly money obviously). Whilst there's some precedence for using the 11th from the lot really the most important points are the signs which form a cross with the lot - so the fourth, 7th and 10th signs from the Lot.

I don't actually think the Lot of Fortune shows us how we earn money actually. I think looking to the MC as well as the Lot of Spirit are more likely to be descriptive of this personally.
