But I fear that it is all in vain: I agree with your turning the chart, making the 5th, your son, his ascendant and then his 10th, the second of the figure, his job. But I am very, very sorry that there is NO reception of the significators, at least no mutual, and even that had been a very small 'yes' to your answer. But now, without this mutual reception (Mars in his exaltation and face, but not received by the Moon, who is in her domicile and only she being received by Mars in his triplicity) there is in my opinion no chance for your son to get the IBM job.

PS: You said that you see your visit to your mother (Jupiter) in the chart. Do you mean the Moon's conjunction with Jupiter's antiscion on 18?31? Cancer?

Thanks so much. OH, I couldn't see the job either, hoping that may be I just don't know enough. Now I see that I was right- unexpected good feeling:)
Moon's last aspect is to my L4, and I do plan to go abroad these days. Is this a coincidence, beginner's luck, or ...I 'mastered' this art, lol!

My trip starts Dec 11, 7pm
Moon in early Sag! ha
Air fair is way more expensive /double/ than I expected- but I've had a strong urge to go.

It looks to me like the next aspect the Moon makes is an antiscion to Jupiter (which I see Johannes has already flagged up). Horatio has already cited Jupiter as a significator of the job as ruler of the radical 10th, but Jupiter is also ruler of the turned 6th. Now, I know nobody here believes in 6th="the job", :roll: but it keeps cropping up....

Jupiter is also in the radical 3rd, in Gemini and so disposed by Mercury, which is a nice symbolic place for a job in IT.

I wanted to see my assumption (of the Moon conjuncted the antiscion of Jupiter to be your visit to your mother) confirmed by your departure time. It is pure curiosity and not at all I wanted to question your visit as I now see your questions seem to insinuate a little. If you had this idea, I'm sorry.

Well, knowing your departure time I find the Moon perfecting her conjunction with Jupiter's antiscion at about 22:18 in the night of 1. December. This is about 10 hours after the question. These 10 units added to the 1. December make the 11. December.

I confess that this timing seems to be a little odd and it does not convince me really, but it seems to fit and perhaps (hopefully) you can offer a better one?

Hi Geoffrey,

Thanks for this informative view- it gives hope that my son will get that job? /is this so, pls ? or just my wishful thinking?
In my early stages of studying of horary I have still to muster subtleties /like 6thH for job which I never looked at/
