The more I read about Hellenic sources the more links I see with Chinese Yin Yang theories. It was said Phlegmatics are the most problematic people. It happens that Winter is also the season when the most Yin people tend to be born,and according to statistics,more people with mental problems are born in this season. In Chinese astrology if you were born in winter you were advised to seek fire element in the form of hot climate or activities or warm colours. If born in Summer you should seek water or cold( Mars at night)to cool down. In Sweden it is common for Hospitals to send those with mental disorders to spend days or weeks in warm climates as their condition tends to improve there. The season determines the temperature of the chart,and the time of day increases or decreases temperature accordingly just like explained in the link
