2 by Mark Hello Templeton, As you are new to Skyscript I thought I better explain that personal notices like this are restricted to this particular part of the forum. I have therefore deleted the duplicate posts you made in the other Skyscript forums. I happen to own one of these copies of Bonatti in hardback. However, to be perfectly honest I find the paperwork editions of Bonatti brought out by Dr Benjamin Dykes much more practical as reference sources for working astrology. The hardback edition is no doubt a treasure for book collectors but its a but unwieldly as a reference book due to the really thin paper. 5 by Tom First off Mark is correct: all questions regarding astrology books should be deferred to Phillip Graves. Secondly, "rare" and "scarce" are specifically definable terms within the antiquarian book market. However I do not know what those definitions are. I suspect, that it has to do with what was once published, versus what is now available and somehow the market is factored in. 500 copies isn't very many, but that is what the market wanted. In other words the market is saturated at the moment. Therefore, Templeton lowered his price (the beauty of capitalism expressed in a single transaction). If however there was a huge demand for these 500 volumes, then he would have asked for even more. Apparently the demand is not there, yet.
