Help with wedding election 1 by Cecilia Hello, This electional chart refers to my own wedding. I came up with this date and time after some research, in general it seems to be a good chart to me but however there are still a couple of things that I don't like.. I know, it is impossible to have a perfect electional but at least I would like to have some reassurance that the problems are not too important. Positives of the chart; There are good receptions between L1 and L7 (ruler/exaltation); The moon is fast, angular and growing in light, L1 is applying to a conjunction with Venus, significator of love in general and also general ruler of the bride, L7 is in anaretic degree but about to gain dignity, and conjunct Betelgeuse (Success) The last aspect of the Moon before she changes sign is an opposition with Jupiter. Negatives: Mars is sitting right on the MC and I can't get rid of it. Moving Mars to the 9th puts Uranus right in the 7th. If I move Mars forwards to the 11th house, Neptune will be in the 7th. Neither of these options is good. Mars rules my Natal Asc - does this make it less "malefic"? Also, the Moon has just separated from an opposition with Mars. In horary this wouldn't mean anything for the future events, but - does it have any meaning in electional? Jupiter, ruler of the 7th, isn't in great shape as it is in detriment and combust, but is is angular. Also ASC ruler is mutable, and not fixed as desired. However, the fixed axis which would be feasible for these dates - Leo/Aquarius - will make a retrograde Saturn be the ruler of the 7th! Any ideas? Many thanks in advance! Date of Wedding 3 by MorningSun Hello Cecilia, I cannot speak to the Electional chart, however, I can speak to the date you have chosen. 30 yrs ago, I was very much involved in Numerology, not just the regular, personal year, month, etc. I have watched the number 22 for many years, it is said to be a master number. Before I believe anything I test and see what actually happens and what that vibration brings. I believe it is a master number because one would have to be very spiritually advanced to handle the difficulties this brings. I have so many real life examples of many, many difficulties and hardships with this number, when anything is actually initiated on this day. Here is just a few examples Marriage on 22nd: death of child, second child had stroke, left paralyzed, plus many other additional hardships. born on 22nd: difficult life, addictions, hardships, sorrows, real people I know. In addition to Adam Lanza, the mass shooter in Newtown. Ct. USA Flight made for 22nd: Leg broken in 4 places, knee totally shattered. Sometimes only many delays, lost luggage, etc. Purchaes on 22nd: House foreclosed upon, purchased on 22nd, very expensive dining table, Those are just a few examples, I have yet to meet someone, or an event initiated on the 22nd (of any month) where it produced anything good. I always try to prevent someone from hardships, so I share this info in that spirit, which I have acquired over many years of observation. All the Best to you! Quote Sat Jan 26, 2013 5:47 pm
4 by Morpheus Hi Cecilia, If I move Mars forwards to the 11th house, Neptune will be in the 7th. Neither of these options is good. Mars rules my Natal Asc - does this make it less "malefic"? Where is your natal mars? sign and degree. Where is your natal moon? sign and degree. Are there any aspects between your natal Mars, Mercury or Moon? If yes, what are those aspects? 5 by Cecilia Many thanks for all the answers so far! Horatio: my natal Mars is 20?Scorpio, conj ASC (at 15?Scorpio) Natal Moon is 14?Gemini. There are no aspects between my natal Mars, Moon or Mercury. How do you interpret these? Please share your thoughts. Morning Sun: thanks for your input, I am seriously looking at the 21st June instead of the 22nd, just to be on the safe side! If I cast the chart for approximately the same time, but on the 21st June there is no much change, apart from the Moon applying by opposition to Mars - that's why I initially chose the 22nd because then the Moon will be past the opposition. 6 by Morpheus Hi Cecilia, Just one more question and then I would explain why I asked for the details. Where is your natal Jupiter? (Sign, degrees. minutes and whether direct or retrograde) Regards Morpheus https://horusastropalmist.wordpress.com/ Quote Fri Feb 08, 2013 7:15 am
7 by Cecilia Horatio: My natal Jupiter is in 24? Virgo in the 10th House. Looking forward to reading your thoughts! Cecilia Quote Fri Feb 08, 2013 1:27 pm
8 by Morpheus Hi Cecilia, The date seems to be fine, change the time to little bit so that ascendant becomes 24 Virgo. According to my Guru, in case of women, 7th ruler from the natal moon sign should have some dignity or angularity. Your 7th ruler from natal moon is Jupiter which in amended chart would have degree of electional ascendant. Mars would move a tiny bit into 9th house. The Jupiter in electional chart is in good reception with mercury and is safe from combustion. Ascendant ruler is in Cardinal sign. (Mercury in Cancer). I agree that fixity of electional moon and electional ascendant ruler is good but by moving either of them in to Leo, makes them square with transiting Saturn. Mars has no significance in this chart, no worries, except that you would be in bit of hurry or hyper-active mood on wedding day.
