13 by Tom BTW, the print settings (DPI) on Html/print options is for the printer and Acrobat file generation (F6). The generation of jpeg files is automatically set at 70 DPI so all you have to do is the visual resizing of the window, closing and reopening. Yeah I figured that out as my head hit the pillow last night. ... but you're supposed to close it and reopen it, then resize again until the white space is cropped off. Got it. Worked fine. 14 by Tom As an FYI I looked up why Bonatti would have taken the Moon as hyleg. It is a night chart, and the Moon is in aspect to one of its triplicity rulers, Saturn. Worsdale notes that the native was taken seriously ill at age 16 (1808): ? ? he suffered severely by a violent nervous Fever, which continued almost two months, during which time he was not expected to survive.? But survive he did and let?s see if we can figure out what happened and why with directions and other tools if necessary. The Delphic Oracle was made for studying John Worsdale (and lots of other stuff, too). We need simply select the appropriate promissors and significators, aspects, parallels, rapt parallels, etc and calculate them both converse and direct and everything Worsdale tells us about pops up on a table, plus a lot more, and this information raises some questions as well. For example, he first sites the following two directions: The ASC to the body of the Sun (direct) and the Hyleg (i.e. the Sun) to Mundane parallel of Mars (direct). The first according to Delphic Oracle perfected on Feb 22, 1808, two months prior to the native?s 16th birthday. The next perfected Aug 29, 1808, 6 months later and 4 months after the 16th birthday. Worsdale calculated these events for January 1808 and July 1808. He does not tell us when the fever struck other than it was at age 16 and lasted two months. In between those two celestial events, the MC was directed to the square of the Sun in mundo, and the part of fortune (the body) was directed to the body of the Moon in mundo. Worsdale, recall, uses a mundane POF that has no celestial longitude. Finally at age 16 years 3 months Worsdale notes the POF is directed to the semi-square of Mercury in mundo. Mercury is the dispositor of both Mars and the Moon. Previously Worsdale showed us that the native dies when events pile up on the hyleg. Here was have only a single direction of the ASC to the hyleg and that isn?t enough to kill. Sun to parallel of Mars is enough to cause illness when coupled with the ASC to the Sun. But note the time elapsed between the first direction ? 6 months, and the first preceded the 16th birthday by a few months. Things didn?t happen all at once or perhaps Mr. White would have been subject to ?dissolution.? It was shown in Martin Gansten's course how to do it, but the program as it stands uses the ecliptic version of POF. If this is commonly used I can add it. The course also shows crespuscular arcs of Placidus which Martin reports fell out of use. Keep in mind there is also a neo-converse option where you select Direct, Converse or Both. Both here refers to traditional direct and converse definitions, but when Neo-Converse is selected it uses the modern definitions of Direct and Converse (converse being against the diurnal rotation). 16 by Tom To the best of my knowledge only Worsdale used the mundane POF. He credited Ptolemy, but Martin said it was actually devised by Placidus. Kolev's program calculates it.
