Hey maybe if I put in my signature that I am using a Sidereal ayanamsa, am I allowed to have an opinion? Like it or not, use of a Sidereal zodiac is as traditional as Tropical, it is just used less now. I am using the same rulerships, techniques and predicitive methods as everyone else here but I have to post exclusively on a forum that pretty much Graham, Martin, Panjakadueby and I will actually use? You can't give a forum the name "Traditional (and Ancient) Techniques" and expect it to conform to a pre-set ideal of what that means, the "Tradition" covers at least around 2000 years of work and I'm sure we have members here from all over the world, from all stations in life and of all ages. That's a lot of differences just there never mind in how we all interpret the texts slightly differently just as the authors of those texts did their sources.

If this is what everyone on the now-created Tropical side wants, I will just post in the other forum and ignore this one, that isn't going to be much fun though, is it? Otherwise I feel it is time to just let go of the control and let things happen. I am more than happy to put it in my signature that I am a heretic since I got bored of writing it in every post.

Still can't figure out why the * admitted * static of the outers has usurped tradition. Saturn for Aquarius, Jupiter for Pisces, Mars for Scorpio ? makes sense to me.

Pluto for Scorpio. Why has this not changed now that Pluto may be a binary non-planet, or an over-grown comet? And what of Ceres? Xena? Charon?
