i have put this in the form of a question as i don't know that israel has come out and openly stated they have done this, but it has already been rubber stamped by the us just in case they have.. the time of approx 2am was given in a new york times article from a few days ago.

i am keen to find a strong connection to the many charts i have for israel. the top 3 i have are 4pm, 4:15:08pm( i think that is isaac starkman and alexandar marr's rectification), and 4:37pm. i personally favour the 4pm one, but aside from the question on the specific ascendant degree/minute, we can still get lots of info off the day chart with either libra or scorpio rising.

there will always be many connections one can find between 2 random charts, especially if many planets and aspects are used.. this is a good rationale for using less rather then more, although astro habits learned are hard to let go!

i believe it was isaac on the sibelius/juan thread in the general forum that mentioned about the connection between transiting mars and sun on israels north node here.. there was another bombing prior to this more major one on sunday morning that happened friday morning which i can't get info on but it gives a wider window for the mars/sun transit to israels north node.

the other obvious factor is the transiting nodal axis itself in the reverse sign positions to israels chart with north node transiting at about 17 degrees scorpio for these latest events and squaring onto israels natal saturn at 16 leo 35.. the natal chart for israel has the square of nodal axis to the saturn/pluto conjunction in the 48 chart..

perhaps one of the reasons i find the libra rising chart more compelling in relation to this event is the conjunction of transiting venus on israels natal 8th house sun.. something about libra rising and aries on the descendant and being involved in confrontations more often then not seems to ring a bell for me with the libra rising chart more then the scorpio rising one. however if one looks at the midheaven degree in the scorpio rising chart - 3 leo 56 - that lines up in a close 45 to the angular jupiter in the timing of the bombing event here.. and, the transiting moon at 16 pisces 25 in the bombing event is almost exactly 135 the 0 scorpio ascendant..

i like looking at transiting midpoints... saturn/pluto seems to stick out for me when thinking about the nature of war.. the midpoint is a slower moving one.. for israels solar return chart this year, regardless the chart one uses it is at 9 sag 11, an interesting combo of numbers.. as i like to watch the 45/135 aspect this transiting midpoint is within a 1 degree orb to israels natal sun at 23 taurus 40 - off exact by about 31 minutes. it arrives at 8 sag 40 to an exact 135 to natal israel sun on may 26th/13, a day or so after the full moon 25th area..

there are so many ways to approach astrology.. venus and mars rule libra and scorpio.. these planets are always at play in any look at astrology.. watching their movement in relation to israels chart here at the moment wondering which one has the bigger say in the direction that israel goes in is tricky, not to mention the fact israel generally doesn't acknowledge it's involvement in relation to war and seems to operate with a shroud around it on the international level.. i guess that is the neptune rising in libra signature that i subjectively associate more with israel..

plenty to discuss, but i will stop here.. i wonder if this bombing event, or events over the past weekend is some type of major escalation and turn of events in the unfolding of syria and more widely the middle east..
