Lunar Eclipse, May 25. and Astro*Cartography

There is a slight lunar eclipse occurring on May 25, only an applause - but it still counts and it might be the occasion to inspect an Astro*Cartography chart with emphasis on North America.

Lunar Eclipse, May 25. As can be seen, Uranus is on the lower meridian of California and San Fransisco. Since it is a well know area frequent earthquake, maybe it is just an apt time for a cautioning if something does start rocking. On the East coast Mars will be on the lower meridian of Washington DC and New York, which may heat things up in one way or another. There could be a heat wave, a fire hazard or opposition and uproar in one way or another. It is just a matter of being prepared and understanding what is going on if affairs start moving the one way or the other.

As we saw last month with the lunar eclipse build up over the Korean peninsula, celestial phenomena may indicate a build up of tension but which does not have to break the surface and maifest in the world in a 'worst case scenario'. However, such astronomical and astrological phenomena can be calculated a long time in advance and can be useful to making certain preparations so that the sequence of events can be guided in more constructive directions.

Oklahoma hit hard by tornadoes

The green line in the middle of the map is where Saturn is located on the meridian and Midheavan. Notice that Oklahoma has been hit hard by massive tornadoes the last few days causing damage and destruction, and an upsetting number of casualities, too. This is right under the Saturn line. Saturn can be a culprit of bad weather; signifying collapses, falls or causing you to get hit on the head by something. Another compulsive 'terminator', Pluto, is on the ascendant of the same area.

The combination of Saturn and Pluto has a poor reputation. In February 2011 it indicated the build up and roit in Libya, Egypt and Sudan (Link), and in January the same year there was a bomb attack on Moscow Airport (Link).

what is the technical definition for an eclipse? i know they connect to where the nodal axis is, but i wonder how far removed it can be before it is not an eclipse? here is a chart for the time of the full moon put to oklahoma city.. it reflects what your astrocartography chart shows.. i have a similar feature in solar fire, but am unable to share it..

Thank you for the conventional chart. I see the degree of the Moon's fall is on the Midheaven and this agrees with a path of destruction. I started the tread with discussion Uranus on the IC for California and San Fransisco, and possible seismic peaks, yet with Saturn on the MC (which is an opposite) destruction came from above instead.

The boundaries of an eclipse is determined by whether the Moon is at perigee or apogee, because this decides the angle that can be allow with an interuption of light still taking place, but then the orb to either of the Moon's nodes can vary from 15?21 to 18?31 for a solar eclipse and between 9?30 and 12?15 for a lunar eclipse. Within the lesser orbs an eclipse is certain to occur, even if the Moon were at apogee. But if the Moon is close to Earth then the wider orbs apply (Source: Jansky).

i read jansky's book a long time ago.. this is on the outside of the perimeters then..

here is a chart for the approx time and place that the tornado landed. jupiter on the midheaven while saturn is at the ascendant/ic midpoint and 135 the jupiter/midheaven. the tornado lasted for approx 40 minutes or from the time it took 21 virgo rising to make it to 0 libra on the ascendant and 21 gemini to 0 cancer on the midheaven..

Yes, Saturn is on the Asc/IC midpoint (!!) and I am sure there is a connection to the Sun applying to Pleiades - which I am suggested may be approached as Aladdin's Lamp. When the energy or genie is released from the lamp, what happens? I seem to recall something of a tornado of dust... Jupiter is Lord of the 4th house and culminating in the sign of his detriment, the air sign Gemini. There is a mutual reception by terms between Jupiter and Saturn. It feels as if the square between Uranus and Pluto is a part of the entire picture, but there could be some pieces in the puzzle to be put together yet.

i agree - working with others to better understand the mechanics of astrology in connection with world events(a fascinating study) is where we could really benefit..

one of my ongoing thoughts has to do with the length of time an eclipse can have an influence.. back when i was looking into eclipse data in connection with events and the stock market i recall one interesting observation that another astrologer - perhaps it was sepherial or someone like that - about when a malefic reaches the degree of the eclipse that it can sometimes trigger an external event in connection with the eclipse.. the most obvious example is 9-11 in connection with the june 21st or 22nd 2001 eclipse.. mars was within a degree of this eclipse point for the event.

anyway, i am not sure how wide the window is time wise.. some say about 2 years, depending on whether it is a full or partial eclipse.. that could be 2 years before or after which would include a lot of eclipse data!!

At the moment the transiting Sun/Mars midpoint at 26 Taurus is exactly square the Uranus/Pluto midpoint. All minutiae but interesting.
The worst ever USA tornado hit on 18 March 1925 with Mars at 26 Taurus. So maybe it is a significant tornado/disaster degree and not just for Oklahoma.<<

I have done quite a bit of work with eclipses. I think there are probably several ways in making a time conversion. If there was an orb within one degree (ie. from an eclipse/lunation to a planet in a nativity) the arc could be converted into fractions of a month or fractions of a year. With this reference Lilly and Barclay say that anything beyond 1? does not damage [the querent/native] but like the fragements of an explosion nearby landing at a persons feet.

The solar eclipse of Nov 23. 2003 warned the tsunami earthquake of Sumatra on Dec 26. 2004. The two events were interlocked by 12 lunar cycles and a 45 day progression (link). The 45 day progression had turned up in other earthquake patterns. The 12 lunar cycles connected the solar eclipse of Nov 23. 2003 with the station of Uranus on Nov. 11. 2004. The Sumatra earthquake occurred 45 days after this last date.

Any associations to Algol and Pleiades are interesting, but we will have to take into consideration the precession of the equinoxes and motion of the stars if we are to get it right. I think Algol may have to do with extreme low pressures (or high, either way) that has to do with capturing things, or icing them down, while Pleiades has to do with the consequences and way these pressures break the surface (after fermentation).

Earthquake and Bridge collapse

An earthquake corrected to 5,9 on Richters scale occurred just north of California but right under the Uranus-line today May 24. 04.47 UTC (local time: May 23. 20.47). Earthquakes are not unusual in this area, but as soon as the get close to 6 on Richters scale then they have to potential of doing great damage. The question is whether this was the peak event, or whether it is a warning of more stress on the build.

Further north, under the same Uranus-line, but closer to Vancouver, one hour ahead of the earthquake, a motorway bridge across the Skagit River collapses sending several people and cars into the water below. Divers search the area, but fortunately no one is believed to have been killed in the incidence.

An earthquake measuring 8,2 Richter has been reported in the Sea of Okhotsk at 05.44 UTC today. Fortunately, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 601 km, which limits potential damage but an earthquake of this magnitude is still significant. In the Astro*Cartography chart this earthquake occurs under the line where Pluto appears on the lower Midheavan. Link: Usgs.gov

thanks for sharing! the bridge that collapsed was hit by a truck, so it appears not earthquake related... that bridge is on the main highway - i5 between vancouver and seattle and i have been over it many times!
