Mention was made in another thread awhile ago that there was at least one break in the standard calendar as we use it today, and this resulted in going from certain dates and days to other dates and days, e.g., one of the magor breaks was going from Julian to Gregorian calendars.

Are there agreements on which day is the first day of the week, in the context of days attributed to ruling planets of those days?

Are there agreements on which hour of the day is ruled by the ruling planet of the day? The only system I have seen is that the hour of sunrise is ruled by the planet that rules that same day and the rest of the hours go in the standard weekly order therefrom.

If we lose track of which lunar day it is, this is easily corrected by observing the lunar cycle and adjusting things accordingly. What is the basis for determining which day of the week it happens to be? It would seem that 28 divided by 7 equals 4 and 4 weeks of the month. 28 times 12 equals 336 and 28 times 13 equals 364. There are approximately 365.25 days in a Solar Year. The month is based on the Apparent Solar Cycle, i.e. Tropical Zodiac or Solar Year. We know there are discrepancies between the lunar and solar cycles/calendars, and the ancients kept track of both the lunar and solar cycles/calendars and there were various attempts made to reconcile the lunar and solar cycles.

There was a need to create 'leap days' and 'leap years' and 'leap months'. Therefore, it would seem there is a need to create 'leap planetary days of the week' for astrological purposes, regardless of what the conventional standards are for labeling weekdays? - This depends on what the basis is for labeling each weekday as ruled by a planet and having 7 of them and then basing the hour ruled by each planet on that day ruled by each planet. Some doubts.
