It?s true that I don?t post much in this forum anymore, but I still receive a notification whenever someone replies to this thread.

No, I didn?t have a specific time-frame in mind when asking the question. He has not got married to someone else and he certainly does not ?hate my guts?, quite the contrary. What gave me a reason to think that it will not happen (and still does) is that he has moved to another country to finish his studies in the context of an Erasmus program. I don?t think he would have done this if he was that interested in having a relationship with me, don?t you agree?

In his ?defense? though, he already had in mind doing a stay abroad when we met. In fact, he talked to me about it quite extensively from the beginning. And there?s no guaranty that I will stay in this country once I graduate either, because the economy here makes it difficult to find a job. But still, we are not in contact anymore since he?s gone. We had the talk, and decided it was not the right time to begin a relationship just some months before he was leaving.

I got the impression that yes; the romantic feelings were there, but the circumstances were just not right. Mind you, he is very romantic and emotional himself, with the Moon in Libra, and both benefics in Cancer (in trine with my Sun ?received- and conjunct my Moon by the way) and he himself said it was better to not be in a relationship and to go our separate ways. And to be honest, maybe it is better this way because I still think that if he really felt the same as me, he wouldn?t have gone. When I find the right man, I'm sure he won?t renounce to a relationship with me just to go abroad, for a course that he could have finished here, that is.

So yes, I think the significance of the Moon is spot on in this chart ? Moon in the 9th: travel abroad, higher education and yes, divination, all of it. It still amazes me to this day how much the Moon is key in this chart and really fits the situation.

turn yor respective charts to sidereal and see whether that represents the issue at hand any differently or your own position in a better way.

Sidereal asc is taurus.
7th lord Mars is in Libra in detriment in venuses other sign.
Venus applies to a square of Mars.
Moon(3rd lord- 9th from 7th isin detriment and opposes venus and squares mars)-the long range travel of the 7th actually re-inforces the venus-mars square).

Venus trines Saturn which is the exalted 10th and 9th lord and also the dispositor of POF- so that travel proposal of the 7th lord was not careerwise and money was not suitable for you and did not match your plans or your plans an career did not match his travel plans(Moon the lord of 7th from 9th is in detriment in 9th).

I think, over period of time, you will realize that this failure was more a professional mismatch and more practical than emotional step.

It had not occurred to me to try to look at the chart in sidereal, but now I see that what you are saying makes a lot of sense.
