Hi James,i consider the eclipse also relevant ,because he prepares the event,also hiting the Taurus/Scorpio axis(land and water) and hiting the Mars-Saturn square(7 Leo/7 Scorpio) prior the last solar ingress(Autum equinox); the ACG chart of the november ,17 lunation looks like more relevant as a final trigger.

In may 2013,there'isnt a Mars-Saturn square near the solar ingress,that's the difference;i take all in account, not only Jupit/Sat.

I have to do some work now, but will return to this topic tomorrow or in a few days to elaborate more on this.

Normally we take the time of (example) Ingress from UT Time (before Greenwich-Time). So you have time and place (important for a Radix) When you will this Ingress for Vienna you have to count 1h more because its east from Greenwich. So you will get a Radix which is same time (UT) for the Planets but diff. Houses from the time of the place vienna. So that why I said its not important the place for ACG, only the right time. But because computer programs can work only with time and place. For the first they need a Radix as base for the drawing as ACG, so I did say I used this date and time as info for your computer; and for this time = London (Greewich must be correct). Result: When anyone makes a Horoscope of Ingress for any place in the world, the drawing-ACG would be always the same picture!

You are right that this is not the full Information. So I will in short tell you the system of woking in mundan astrology in my way.

When someone will look for the coming year whats going on, so he should make the Ingress Aries (Ptolemaeus). OTHERS wrote also the Ingress of Capricorn. So the astrological count of the beginning of a year is Sun in Aries or Sun in Capricorn. First, because the the days becoming longer then the nights, Second, because it is the end of the longest night, and the sun will becoming stronger at this point! But the older say look also to every Ingress, and look also to all Lunations, (Full-/ New-Moon) But this Lunation's includes also all eclipses which are possible in this Year!

Example to Philippines: When you look to the Ingress capricorn 2012 so you see Mars Line-DES close at this place. Mars in 7 (special when exact on 7) is not good for a country...but also Saturn is not so far away from IC by the Ph.

So you look in this way to the place(s) of interest(s) and so you can see maybe whats going on. The timing, so when it will be happen something, this is also a great field. The secret of this is hidden in Transits and others...

The Lisbon quake of 5 nov 1755 around 9am had Uranus in Pisces opposite the conj in the nonagesimal 4th house from what ive seen

I have also some interesting info.

Look at the Ingress pictures which are in the links below.

So first you see in the Aries Ingress for the year 1755 the Mars IC line in Portugal close to Lisbon. Mars IC is synonym for earthquake!

In the second picture you see Ingress Capricorn 1754 and the NE AS Line about Lisbon. Neptun is water, better flood!

In the third picture you see Scorpion Ingress 1755. You see also Mars IC Line, the Sun is also in this place and Saturn MC, this means also earthquake but also in the mediterranean area.
