Development of the Use of National Charts 1 by Tom Deb suggested we start a different thread on this topic and I think it is a good idea. Earlier posts are found in the WWII prediction thread. As for Luck Broughton. I asked Phillip Graves to stop by and take a look to give us some input. But I also discovered that I have a pdf of Broughton's Planet Reader beginning in 1860. THere are some 250 pages and I haven't gone through all of them. He did make mundane predictions each month but he used Ingress charts and the new moon charts to make them. At this point I've only skimmed the issues from 1860 and I notice he predicted Abraham Lincoln would lose the upcoming election. For that he used transits to a natal chart that I believe he rectified to 2:00 AM (Feb 12, 1809 Hodgenville, KY USA. Lincoln's precise birth time is unknown. The closest we have is from the recollection of an elderly woman who was probably present. She said, many years after the fact, Lincoln's father Thomas, called for a midwife "About Meetin House Time" which would have been roughly 7:00 AM. If this is accurate Lincoln would have been born a few hours later. I believe the woman was interviewed in the 1890s. I've always been partial to Manly P.
