Although we look in detail at charts for matches, and try to predict the result, I have noticed that on some days there seems to be a very large number of draws across all the matches on that day, with various kick-off times. (I am just looking at English Premier League matches.) It seems that there might be something about the day itself that produces the high number of draws. Clearly, this cannot be due to the angles or the Lord of the Hour or questions of radicality, because of the range of start times. I have given a number of days below where over half the matches were draws. The locations of the matches on each day are spread around the country. The time I have given is for about the middle of the range of kick-off times, to give an indication of the Moon position.

If anyone has any thoughts, please feel free to post them.

I'm not sure. If it comes to penalties the result can be rather artificial.

I think we should try to find the indications for draws rather than avoid them.

I agree about the Moon, it is the one factor I've been isolating for consideration. If you can predict draws, rather than looking for the underdog victories, it tends to produce reasonable odds. They also tend to occur more often than shock victories.

First thoughts, is that there is lunar aspects involving malefics and either the malefics are in exaltation, or the moon is aspecting from the malefics sign of exaltation. With Jupiter it is either in its sign of rulership or is being aspected by the Moon from its sign of exaltation.

I've not looked at radicality.

As these times are the middle of a set of charts at various times, we cannot use radicality. There will draws for matches with different ascending signs and different Lords of the Hour. Your observations about lunar aspects are good because they will be valid for the whole of the period covered during the day.

There was an interesting 1-1 draw today (Sunday 2nd February) in the match between West Brom and Liverpool (KO 13.30). This should have been an easy win for Liverpool, particularly after their strong showing earlier in the week.

We had the Ascendant in Cancer and the Moon (L1), was applying to the trine of Saturn (L7), with Saturn in the Moon's fall.

By the time of the Arsenal match at 16.00, the ascendant had changed to Leo.

There does seem to be something about the Moon aspecting a malific where draws are concerned.
