Leicester - Sheffield W 2-1 :' Good enough for me!

AGF - Randers 0-1, Well done, Janis! :)
Ross County - Iverness 1-2, Hope that didn't upset your band wagon...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

I did look at the game Viking - Stromsgodset, but coudn't be bothered. It ended 0-0. I think the chart indicated radicality by triplicity.

Well, this was not my night. Ross County - Inverness was a blunder. I mistakenly used Jupiter for both teams, though it was obvious that Ross County looks like Saturn and even is mentioned as Saturn in my table. It was the hour of Jupiter and the blues (Inverness) won.

It did not turn out a draw as I suggested from a viewpoint of pure astrology. But we must consider all factors such as statistics, position in the table, motivation, common sense and so on. Probably, under other circumstances the game would end draw. Anyway, Wednesday was not too far from an equalizer. Unfortunately, it is a Friday not Wednesday.

My suggestion that it is worth backing Leicester with both teams to score was correct. Unfortunately, I did not. I did not feel confident of such choice.

Well, it was. Retrograde Saturn ruled the hour with Libra rising. I could't decide whether to back the home or draw and decided to stay away. I instead went for Elfsborg (Sun) in Sweden. Jupiter ruled the hour. It is always good to be in a stake of the strong lord of hour if it is a benefic.

Brilliant! :'

Sometimes staying away is the best option. I have that dilemma with today's games in the Tippeliga:

Odd - Molde, 15,30 CST (Place: Skien)
Odds: 2,55 3,35 2,70
Asc 2VI18 MC 18TA20 Moon 25GE52 POF 12SC28
Day Saturn, Hour Saturn - mutual powers with Me + radical by triplicity

This looks like a right draw from the start. Radical by triplicity; Saturn, LHr, in the 4th; Jupiter, L7, in same triplicity as Saturn + Mercury. The only thing that could upset the judgement is that Jupiter, L7, is 11CN52 and trine Fortuna. But then Jupiter is either the guests or the favourites by odds - so that might even things up again... :???:

Aalesund - Rosenborg, 18.00 CST
Odds: 3,00 3,30 2,35
Asc 24VI04 MC 20GE50 Moon 27GE08 POF 5SG24
Day Saturn, Hour Mars - not radical

Aalesund came 4th last year - and I expect them to advance to the top 3 this year, so anything could happen. They will have to take points from good teams at home, and Rosenborg are favourites by odds. Again, we haven't quite seen what the teams are good for so far this year. Half the lads have probably still got their skies on. :?

I agree with you. On surface, Odd - Molde appears to be a straightforward draw. On second thoughts, I think that the chart favours Molde (Jupiter) rather than Odd (Saturn). Jupiter is exalted and trine POF (though not partile) through signs of long ascension. I wonder whether the Moon, dispositor of Jupiter, is going to make the difference. She is applying to her dispositor Mercury in its fall in Pisces and by trine (through signs of short ascension) to Venus, the almuten of the 7th. Venus is rather near the cusp, though in a different sign (unlike games in Premier League and Championship where she is angular). She is in the last degree of Aquarius, before entering into Pisces, the sign of her exaltation.

Statistics suggest that Molde is unlikely to win. No wins so far in Skagerak Arena, 7 draws and 6 defeats. On the other hand, the Moon?s application to Mercury in fall and Venus in the last degree of Aquarius may put to an end this winless streak. According to my notes, the Moon?s application to inferiors (in particular in double bodied signs) usually indicate draw.

Aalesund ? Rosenborg. I see you are willing to back the home. In my opinion, the chart lacks clear indications for the home (Sun according to the table). Sun is aversion to the rising sign, Saturn is cadent in Scorpio. Both planets are ruled by retrograde Mars, LHr, being aversion to the rising sign. The Moon is angular and applying to Venus in the last degree of Aquarius and aversion to ASC. Combination day ruler Saturn, hour Mars, both retrograde in my opinion, might even favours the Troll Kids (Rosenborg). It looks like a draw.

Denmark; Midtjylland ? Aalborg, odds 2.25 3.30 3.20 , 17:00 CEST, Coordinates 56N 07 01, 008 E 57 06 , ASC 15VI18, POF 26SC 10, Moon 26 GE 37, hour Mars, not radical.

It is a game for the title. I use Saturn for Midtjylland and Mars/Moon for Aalborg. Here the Moon is separating from her dispositor and applying to Venus, the exalted lady of the 7th. I am willing to back the away though I admit that a draw is also possible here.

Premier League

I will not provide particular details for the games. All games are played with Leo rising. Retrograde Saturn rules the day and hour. The Moon is partile applying square to her dispositor Mercury in its fall in Pisces, and then applying to Venus hovering on the cusp of the 7th. The overall picture seems to favour guests rather than hosts.

Aston Villa ? Fulham. Odds 2.10 3.50 3.80. The chart seems to favour Fulham (Saturn). Saturn rules the day and hour and is in a stake of Leo. As a starting point looks like good. But Fulham is in a terrible form. They appear to be doomed to being relegated. Odds 3.80 look attractive, but I think that they will not beat Villa today. I expect draw.

Cardiff ? Crystal Palace. Odds 2.40 3.30 3.30. Both teams are desperatedly fighting to avoid relegation. No particular considerations. At the beginning of the season, I would say draw. If I must choose, I?ll say home though the chart favours away (because of the . Cardiff must be more motivated. It is a must win for Cardiff.
Hull City ? Swansea. 2.70 3.25 2.88. On surface, the chart seems to favour Hull (Sun), exaltation and whole sign trine to ASC. I am wondering what impact the Moon?s (Swansea) application (to her dispositor Mercury in its fall and Venus) will have on Swansea. I suggest the away but not sure.

Newcastle ? MU. Odds 3.80 3.50 2.10. The chart looks good for Saturn (Newcastle) but I am not sure they will take points.

Norwich ? WBA. Odds 2.38 3.40 3.25. I am not sure whether the Moon?s application to Mercury (Norwich) is a bad or good indication for the Canaries. I suppose it should be a bad one. I expect the away.

Championship

Barnsley ? Brihgton. 4.20 3.40 2.05. Barnsley is fighting to avoid relegation, Brighton for a place in playoffs. The game is a must win for both teams. I am backing away.

Blackburn ? Ipswich. 2.30 3.40 3.40. No particular considerations. Both planets Mercury ? (Blackburn) and Jupiter (Ipswich) in the same triplicity. Overall picture seems to favour the away but I am going for a draw.

Blackpool ? Yeovil. 2.10 3.40 3.90. I am expecting Yeovil at least to score. A draw is possible here. It is hard to believe that Yeovil (Venus) will take all 3 points here.

Bournemouth ? QPR. 2.40 3.40 3.20. I expect home (Saturn). Moon?s application to Mercury (QPR) seems to be a weaker one. Both planets Saturn and Mercury are in the same triplicity. Draw is also possible here.

Charlton ? Reading. 2.80 3.25 2.75. I am backing away (application to Mercury, Reading).

Doncaster ? Birmingham. 2.75 3.30 2.80. The same considerations as above ? the away.
Huddersfield ? Bolton. 2.40 3.50 3.10. Not sure. I suggest away (Bolton, Moon) rather than home (Huddersfield, Venus).

Middlesbrough ? Derby. 2.80 3.40 2.70. I will back away (Saturn, Derby, rules the day and hour and is in a stake of Leo).

Nottingham ? Milwall. 1.62 4.00 6.50. It is a must win for Nottingham. I back home.

Watford - Burnley. 2.05 3.50 4.00. The chart has several negative hints. Sun (Watford) is in Aries, the sign of Saturn?s (ruler of hour and day) fall. The Moon (dispositor of Jupiter, Burnley) is applying to Mercury, her dispositor. Not sure what it means. I will back home but will not be surprised if it is the away.

What a mess!

I never liked the planetary order for today and am staying off all other games for the rest of the day. Moon in Gemini with Mercury detrimented in Pisces? In some way I scraped through by backing a double with ManC and Wolves, but no more than ?10 was added to the petty cash. I should have has a 0-1 handicap in both games. That would have given a better return.

I never liked the planetary order for today
I share the same feelings. However, astrology does not stop working because of the Moon's ruler in its fall in Pisces. I agree that it is not a good time for betting but I think it is an excellent one for learning.

Well, the first game did not end draw as we expected (I even suggested that it might go for Molde). However, Saturn (Odds), the ruler of day and hour was retrograde in a firm sign pointing to the eventual reoccurrence of the past. It slipped my attention. The Moon's application to Mercury and Venus (the almuten of the 7th) appeared not to be very helpful for Molde at least to equalize. I suspect, it even harmed Jupiter (Molde). Considering this awesome winless streak, I think it was next to impossible to predict the outcome from the event chart, the explanation 'why' is in the past, I believe. All streaks one day end, but our task is to say 'when'.

Aalborg won, as predicted.

Being pressed for time, I made a couple of blunders in Premier League and Championship. Characteristic of Moon in Gemini with its dispositor in Pisces, in partile square. Isn't it? I provided a correct analysis but faulty conclusions. Anyway, it is not easy to take into consideration all the stuff: astrology, statistics, motivation, etc. Astrology alone does not lead to correct predictions.

I am particularly pleased with a couple of games in Championship. They were based on indications in the charts rather than on any other considerations.
Charlton ? Reading. 2.80 3.25 2.75. I am backing away (application to Mercury, Reading).

Doncaster ? Birmingham. 2.75 3.30 2.80. The same considerations as above ? the away.

Hi Janis, hi Andrew,

I would like to ask your opinions about this Moon application to Mercury today. Janis, you have written the Moon's square aspect was bad for the Canaries, who are signified by Mercury. And it was. My question is in connection with this aspect on the Augsburg Bayern match. Augsburg was green, thus I suppose signified by Mercury, Bayern was red. Augsburg won.
The difference is that in Augsburg the planetary hour ruler was Jupiter, while in Norwich Saturn. What is the clue or the connection or whatever? I am totally confused.

Thanks and congratulation for your predictions.

Hi, Diamond

I looked at the charts of Bundesliga. I had a sneaking suspicion it was going to be an upset but unfortunately did not back it. In my table for Bundesliga Augsburg is Moon (white). I would use Moon even if Augsburg play in green (Venus - away kit). Mercury is not associated with green; it is Venus or Jupiter for lush green. Bayern is Mars.

I wrote a couple of weeks ago (look in March thread) that bad receptions between the lord of hour and the significator of a big favourite are one of the strongest indications to an upset. Jupiter ruled the hour and was in Cancer, the fall of Mars. For huge underdogs, it is rather a fortification than a weakness if the significator applies to its dispositor in fall. If Augsburg played in green (Venus), look at Venus. She was right on the cusp of the 7th and receiving trine from Moon. I instead went for Frankfurt (Saturn) and Borussia Moenchengladbach (Moon); there were clear indications in the charts in favour of the said teams.

If you wish you can receive an updated table for Bundesliga.

Regards
Janis

Hi Janis,

Thanx for your guidance and help. Everything seems to be clear after such a nice explanation. The problem for me is when these clear indications cannot be seen at first sight. I dont know why I associate green with Mercury. Perhaps it comes from the fact that I have seen several charts where Mercury played a significant role together with other elements, planetary hour ruler and POF, and in those cases dark green teams won.
I would be grateful if you could send me the updated table for Bundesliga and Serie A too, if available.

I don't mind defining days of low predictability as long as I can recognize the signs. The Universe is a large place. There is room for both Order and Chaos.

But look at this individual startingtime in the Tippeliga on Sundag;

Start - Haugesund, 15.30 CST (Kristiansand)
Odds: 2,05 3,40 3,55
Asc 1VI25 MC 17TA43 Moon 7CN58 POF 22SC43
Day Sun, Hour Sun - not radical

Fortuna is conjunct Saturn 22SC20. Venus, L7, is conjunct the 7th. Mercury, L1, is fall and unconnected in the chart. The guests are 'underdogs'. Start performed well against Str?msgodset last weekend, but maybe this chart suggests that Haugesund get it?

Check also WestHam - Liverpool where Venus in the 1st degree of Pisces, the sign of her exaltation, is square POF in the 1st degree of Sagittarius in the 4th. I am going for a 1-0 handicap in this game, although Pisces is a multiple sign and there could be a wealth of goals.
