25 by Taurus7 Hi, THe conversation did not go well. I think it would be best for me to look elsewhere, but preferably within the company, due to the numerous benefits. I was not given any credit for the hard work that I did, instead I was told of the myriads of things that I did wrong. Some were true, but some were very unfair. Since I am somewhat troubled, I'm not being able to assimilate the consensus on what guidance the horary is offering - should I move on? or should I bite the bullet and stay... The trine of the Moon to Saturn in two units of time still seems promising. Many thanks for your help. Last edited by Taurus7 on Thu Apr 17, 2014 2:42 pm, edited 1 time in total. 26 by fleur As Kali pointed out, Venus' antiscion is conjunct the Moon's north node in Libra in the fifth house. Both are about 8 degrees from aspect with the Moon, though the units of time are unknown. It does sound as though that Neptune's antiscion in 23.5 degrees Libra (from natal Neptune 6.5 degrees Pisces) in the fifth house is affecting you at the moment. The Moon is 20.5 degrees Cancer, so three degrees from a square to this. Your boss's attitude imo has a Pisces/Neptune feel to it, and Pisces can be the most judgemental, and wrongly so, sign. They can be very sweet but not recognise your strengths and wrongly criticise you. At worst they can totally destroy your sense of your own validity and value, so be careful, even if the totally wrong criticism comes sweetened. Their praise can feel as destructive as their criticism, take both cautiously, protect your own boundaries and self-esteem. At the moment the Moon is Via Combusta. I don't know if that is a mood that affects everyone, not just in a horary chart. Maybe the atmosphere will clear when that passes. Quote Wed Apr 16, 2014 2:12 pm

Both malefics are in a very bad stat - Mars is in his detriment, peregrine and retrograde, Saturn is peregrine. Now that's an interesting point that I did not take into consideration. This project almost broke me (I kid you not); and it was relentless, and many a time I felt it took on a "demon" persona of its own, in that it refused to "release" me, I felt a prisoner in its grasp (no exaggeration). The beseigement makes perfect sense; so that is why it is so difficult for me to come to terms with being assigned to this on a permanent basis. I had originally thought I was brought on this temporarily. But I struggled through it and I think I displayed great strength in fighting through it. Question: When will this beseigement end? The new position is signified by Jupiter, lord 10 (strong in his exaltation in the 1st), or, to be more precise, lord 10 is significator of that director who would decide, whether or not you would get a desired position. That's where I'm not sure I agree; is the new position ruler of 10th, or 10th (Jupiter) from 10th (Saturn)? I have been careful, mended some fences on a personal basis with my manager, much more low key and amiable now. But the conversation still lies ahead... Taurus, thank you so much for the detailed critique (and that you are giving so extensive feedbacks in the whole thread)! In the following I shall try to answer your questions (highlighted by me) and give an important addition to one of your quotations. In the end of my judgment I had warned you to be careful with regard to your colleagues for the next two weeks about (after your question). The reason had been, that the Moon's transiting the trine of besieging Saturn in about one and a half degree, would justify this time frame in my opinion. You see, the problems and difficulties are there, by your follower, for example, whose being so ice cold had made you wonder about the things going on in the background, but especially of course by your director whom you had the meeting with yesterday. But this besiegement should be over next week. As you ask for the new position, this is signified by the lord of the tenth in my opinion, because there is no need to have a significator for the current job, which is not in question. I see my opinion in agreement with the teachings of Lilly, who, when asking his famous question about the house he was going to buy, then took the 4th for the new house - and certainly he was living already in a house at the time of the question as you have already a job. Taurus7 wrote:Now I remember a rule in horary called emplacement: >>> Things are sometimes perfected by the dwelling of Planets in houses, viz., when the Significator of the thing demanded is casually posited in the Ascendant; as if one demand if he shall obtain such a Place or Dignity, if then the Lord of the tenth be placed in the Ascendant, he shall obtain the Benefit, Office, Place or Honor desired << Furthermore in your first post and in your own judgement you quote Lilly as to dwelling in houses. But your quotation stops just then, when Lilly contradicts this/your claim that dwelling in houses could perfect the quesited. I give this lenthy qoutation feeling that for most of the readers it will be too long by just that amount, by which yours had been too short. So, William Lilly, CA, p. 126, 127: "Lastly things are sometimes perfected by the dwelling of Planets in houses, viz. when the Significator of the thing deman- ded is casually posited in the Ascendant; as if one demand if he shall obtaine such a Place or Dignity, if then the Lord of the tenth be placed in the Ascendant, he shall obtaine the Benefit, Office, Place or Honour desired: This rule of the An- cients holds not true, or is consentanious to reason: except 127 they will admit, that when the MO, besides this dwelling in house, doth transferre the light of the Significator of the thing disired, to the Lord of the Ascendant; for it was well observed that the application of the Significators shew inclination of the parties, but separation usually privation; that is, in more plaine termes, when you see the principall Significators of the Querent, and thing or party quesited after separated, there?s then little hopes of the effecting or perfecting what is desired, (not- withstanding this dwelling in houses) but if there be applica- tion, the parties seeme willing, and the matter is yet kept on foot, and there is great probability of perfecting it, or that things will come to a further treaty." 28 by kali Taurus, I still believe the chart is showing you moving on to a new job. I believe Jupiter in the first is a strong testiment for such a move. Seems like the same benefit whether Jupiter applies to the first house ruler or actually in the first house within a few degrees of the asc., imo. In your chart Jupiter applies a trine to the MH which seems a powerful testiment for obtaining a job. Another testiment is the Moon in the first and in her domicile. And, a fortune in the asc. of a question is beneficial. Lilly pg. 444, 445: If the Lord of the tenth be joined to Jupiter or Venus by any aspect, and the Lord of the tenth be in the asc., it argues obtaining of the office with ease and facility. If the Lord of the tenth receive the Lord of the first or the Moon by any reception, or in any house the matter will be effected with much content and profit. (There is a mutual reception between Moon and Jupiter) Testimony against getting a new job is Jupiter applying a square to debilitated Mars and Moon is applying a trine to a debilitated Saturn. After reading your latest post there might be problems getting help and good referral from your boss? Using Frawley's technique supports you getting another job although the square of Moon to the NN/Venus antiscia might show difficulties. You have a challenge on your hands. Best of luck. kali Quote Wed Apr 16, 2014 10:36 pm

(There is a mutual reception between Moon and Jupiter) This is promising, thanks you so much, I missed that in Lilly, I must re-read. But I would say your second paragraph applies; Venus does apply to Jupiter within 12 degrees, not sure if they are in moety? As far as ease is concerned, I don't think anything is easy in life.. For the past two days, I haven't heard a word from her. I think she feels uncomfortable in approaching me after our meeting, and secondarily, some of the things I mentioned in which I found her to be responsible for the problems in the project; she did not accept any and passed them on to me. It's very disheartening, because she also made it seem that I only did one part of the project, when in fact, I was involved in the whole thing at one point or another. I trusted her as my friend; she gave me a huge hug after our conversation. As if to make up for deflating me completely? Many lessons learned, one being not to be friends with your boss, or trust anyone at work enough to display your real feelings. Quote Thu Apr 17, 2014 2:35 pm

She told me not long ago "We'll work it out, don't worry, we'll work it out"... In light of our conversation, I'm not sure this is true, which makes me wonder if I can trust her at all. She said many things to me which under normal circumstances are a clear message that if I choose to stay, I have to be enthusiastic about my job, otherwise I can leave. Quote Thu Apr 17, 2014 2:48 pm
31 by Pete Hi all, I thought I might pitch in with an observation or two. It's been a long time since I posted here and I must say it feels good to be back! First of all let me say that I think all the responses to this query give much food for thought. This is a very tricky situation and the chart bears this out. Well done to Kali in particular, for finding that passage from C.A., page 445: "If the lord of the 10th receive the lord of the 1st or the Moon by any reception, or in any house, the matter will be effected with much content and profit" This would seem to bode well but I'm not sure that it specifies whether Taurus 7 should stay or leave? Looking further into that section of C.A. I found this little gem on p.448 in the section entitled "If One Shall Continue In The Office Or Command He Is In": "If the lord of the Ascendant be in angles, and the angles Moveable signs, and the Moon not joyned to the lord of the exaltation of that sign she is then in, it argues he shall goe from this present Command or Government" With respect to the first two criteria, we're in the money: the Moon, lord of the ascendant is angular and the Ascendant is Moveable (Cardinal ). As for the last part of the passage I must admit I'm a little confused. What does Lilly mean by "the lord of the exaltation of that sign she is then in"? If, as I suspect, he is talking about the planet exalted in the Moon's sign, then we're looking at Jupiter, and as we can see the Moon is no longer joined to Jupiter but separated by 8 degrees. If I'm correct in my assessment then the chart is saying unequivocally that she will leave her present position and find another. I'd appreciate any thoughts/comments on this, and Taurus - good luck! Cheers, Pete Quote Fri Apr 18, 2014 12:54 am
32 by Taurus7 Pete, thanks for pitching in! It has been many years since I have seen something from you on here. It reminds me of the old days when I was posting non-stop horaries about my "un-requited" love, and how merciless you were in declaring that the horary "will he come back to me" was definitively saying "NO", as opposed to the "Yes" that I kept trying to turn it around it into. I am older and wiser now and try to interpret the horary for what it is - or so we hope I can't deny that I still skip a beat each time I see a response from you to my questions "If the lord of the Ascendant be in angles, and the angles Moveable signs, and the Moon not joyned to the lord of the exaltation of that sign she is then in, it argues he shall goe from this present Command or Government" You guys are good; first Kali and now you, finding these little gems in Christian Astrology! And I agree that my question also parallels the question which you are referring, for which Lilly offers an analysis on page 448: entitled "If One Shall Continue In The Office Or Command He Is In": because my question was "Shall I find another position at my current company in 8 weeks"? i.e. shall I continue in my current position or be able to move on to another position? With respect to the first two criteria, we're in the money: the Moon, lord of the ascendant is angular and the Ascendant is Moveable (Cardinal ). As for the last part of the passage I must admit I'm a little confused. ......What does Lilly mean by "the lord of the exaltation of that sign she is then in"? I'm going to break this up, which helps me understand this better: If the lord of the Ascendant be in angles The Lord of the Ascendant is the Moon in the first; so YES, lord of the ASC is in the angles and the angles Moveable signs, The Moon is in the first house in Cancer, moveable sign, so YES, the angles are in moveable signs and the Moon not joyned to the lord of the exaltation of that sign she is then in, From this I understand as you do - that if the Moon is not in aspect to the planet that is exalted in the sign that the Moon is in. The Moon is in Cancer, and the planet that is exalted in Cancer is Jupiter, so the answer to this is: The Moon is NOT joyned to the lord of the exalttion of that sign she is in it argues he shall goe from this present Command or Government OK, so that means I will leave the position that I am in, given that I'm not let go or fired - I am strong in Cancer and angular - I don't expect that I would be "let go", because if that was the case, I would have been in a debilitated state! I can't afford to leave without finding another equivalent position. The current situation as it has progressed....I have spoken to a few people within the company and am starting to look at what's out there. I spoke with an ex-business partner who offered much guidance, help, moral support and a few contacts! AND, I have restored relations with my manager as if nothing happened. Very strange.... I was wondering if anyone else would like to pitch in regarding this interpretation? Thanks to all. Quote Fri Apr 18, 2014 6:39 pm
33 by johannes susato Taurus, I agree with your exemplary interpretation of Lilly's text. So then we could be tempted to see you leaving your actual position and taking another position within your firm. But I do not think think that it works like that. Could you explain to me, please, what I have not yet understood clearly enough after your meeting with your manager/friend: are you at all managing projects at the moment and is there a decision made about whether or not you could change to another project or into another department within your firm? In other words: is,what you had asked about in your question decided or is there no decision as yet about your future within your firm? Thank you. BTW: The technical questions you had asked concerning my judgment I have answered in a text above (April 16). Quote Fri Apr 18, 2014 10:33 pm

I am still managing the project that I dislike; no decision has been made for me to change direction, my manager expects me to stick with the same project that I dislike indefinitely. The other project that I wanted (and worked with for over a year) has been given to someone else. Hope that answers your questions, and thank you for looking at my analysis. 35 by kali Hi Taurus7: Coming up on the 8 week time period you cast this chart for, how goes your search for a new job within your company? kali Quote Fri May 30, 2014 12:26 pm
36 by Taurus7 Kali, I am still in the same position and being completely "obedient" (if you want to call it that ) - basically being very "nice" to her and complying with whatever needs to be done, and am still in the same project. I am not happy in this position, so still plan to move - BUT, it's not killing me anymore. I have started to distance myself from her as the "friend" that I used to be, and I know she sees it and I believe it saddens her somewhat, because we did have a "connection". Although I have not been actively looking for a job, I have been talking to people, and on the sidelines, been thinking through a project of my own as an entrepreneur. While the 8 week time frame may not be 8 weeks, but I think something is in the works on an intuitive level and I feel it's just a matter of time. Based on Vedic astrology, I have some exceptionally fruitful "dasha/buktis" or transits that are set to be put into motion June 28th. I believe the horary is still correct, but it may not be 2 months, I think it will happen right around Jun 28th time frame. As per Western astrology, I have an exceptional chart as per my solar return, with the Uranus/Pluto/Saturn (I forget the 4th planet ) grand square falling pretty much exactly on my angles, with Pluto on the MC. That clearly indicates that change is in the air, and per my readings on Solar Returns, this is the year of opportunity. So, I am optimistic. While the change in job may not occur within the 2 month time frame, I feel it is up for grabs, and it is just a matter of time. Thank you for asking, will update when the time comes. - Taurus7 Quote Sat May 31, 2014 2:54 am
