Recently an employer , with some less than honest practices decided she was not going to pay me for several weeks worth of work. Thinking of contacting some state authorities offices to complain and possibly file a suit against her.
My question is this:
Will I get my money owed to me?

I'm wondering if you need to tell her you'll report her in order to get your money? because it seems like some authority needs to be in your favor in order to act?????

Well, I went and spoke with an attorney specializing in labor laws, who is going to send a letter of intent - since this employer is has such dicey practices it would mean a world of woe if they do not make good.
I wonder if it shows in the chart whether or not they will try to retaliate?
