After 22 minutes there are already three goals! Man City 2 - 1 West Brom
I wonder what is causing this?

I certainly do not mind looking at any technique you are examining, and if you have material on the Almuten or the alike, I am sure several would be most appreciative if you feel it can be shared. I hope you made money on the Lorient - Montpellier match! Did you pick the 4-4 scoreline? Smile Thumbs up
Andrew, I will forward you the notes tomorrow. I wish I had picked the scoreline 4-4. My choice was just draw but it was included in my combinations. As I said, no particular astrological considerations (otherwise I would have picked the away, dispositor of Sun (significator of both teams) just on the 7th cusp). I just believed that it should be draw from the viewpoint of the league table.
What is required is a systematic approach prior to match, something like the standard detail I am providing (I'm not suggesting I've got it all right), so that we can examine the details and examine what and what isn't working.
I agree with you. For games with individual starting time it is possible. But I am not so bothered with individual games. My goal is to find testimonies which make difference in run-off-the-mill games, like games on Saturday, at 15:00. I am physically unable to provide details for such games, then I need at least a couple of secretaries who put down my rush of thoughts.

What I can is to provide a general picture (like I did previously) which, in my opinion, is important to monitor and a three-way predictions without providing details. In order to follow my thoughts, you need my tables. You need to know particular significators.

Does Fredrikstad have a specific meaning in Norwegian? In my notes, they are marked as Moon/Mars combination. They are nicknamed Aristocrats, Leo ASC, in my opinion, is not bad for aristocrats (natural association?). Exalted lady of hour Venus also bears association with aristocrats.

Leeds - Nottingham. In the table Leeds are Moon, Nottingham - Mars. Mars is in superior position (as I said it gives a probability of almost 50% without judging any other testimonies).

What I meant was that 1,23:1 seemed like a poor price, but I didn't want a handicap because this already messed up my weekend in the game Norwich - Liverpool. :(

I seem to recall something similar happening in another game previously this weekend, but I can't remember which game. I examined a few games with the SN either on the MC or POF (early start). The NN is on the Asc in the ManC game due to the late starting time. We should probably check whether ie. planets in angular houses provide early action, or whatever excites the game, ie. the nodes; or whether cadent planets push the decision toward the end of the game. In the LIVE market a late victory may be priced at 5:1, 8:1 or more - because the team only has 5-10 minutes to make it happen. That makes the late goals extremely valuable.

No need to send me the notes. The astrological point of view is interesting and can be posted here. The 4-4 scoreline was the game in question, but I realized there was space for some misunderstanding on this.

I do not see Mars holding a superior position in the chart, but it appears that you have assigned the Moon to Leeds and Mars to Nottingham Forrest, and therefore you mean that Nottingham Forrest should win almost half the games due to natural testimony? Am I getting you right?? I am not sure I could form an astrological opinion in this manner. Did you actually put money on the game according to this evaluation?

The superior position (the 10th sign from a planet which is being dominated) makes a statistical difference but it is no reliable testimony for individual games. Mars is in Libra can be in superior position to planets in Capricorn only, he himself is dominated by planets in Cancer (currently Jupiter). Next time Mars will dominate Moon in a month.

Well, yesterday were games York (Mars) - Bury(Moon) (League 2, odds 2.80 3.20. 2.80), Stevenage (Moon) - Bristol City (Mars) (League 1, odds 2.50 3.60 2.88), Tranmere (Moon) - Sheffield Utd (Mars)(League 1, odds 3.40 3.40 2.30), Milton Keynes Dons (Moon) -Brentford (League 1, odds 3.40 3.60 2.20). As you see two draws and two wins for teams signified by Mars. There were no other games in Championship, League 1 and League 2 between Mars and Moon at the time.

It might be just a coincidence, but I am observing such coincidences regularly so that they make a statistical difference, in my opinion.

Currently, Jupiter dominates Mars. As both planets are superiors, we will have plenty of opportunities to check whether it makes a statistical difference or not. In my opinion, it does for day charts. For night charts, there is little or no difference.

No, am not putting money just because of a superior position. But we have to take into consideration also general trends not only particular ones. If it gives a statistical edge, as a starting point it is not a bad one.

I cannot recall whether I sent you the table for Championship or not (any way I will send you if you don't mind). In the table you see that Nottingham is Mars, in the column "City rulers" you will find that Nottingham is under rulership of Libra.

In the chart Libra was on ASC and Mars was rising. The hour was ruled by Jupiter (radical chart). Angular exalted Jupiter is a superior position to Mars with less than a degree to complete their mutual application by square.

Moon, the ruler of the day, is in fall of Jupiter, the ruler of hour, and its own detriment separating from its dispositor retrograde Saturn in Scorpio, the sign of the Moon's fall.
Mars is whole sign trine to POF, Moon is aversion . Moon's application to Mercury, dispositor of POF, is too far (4 degrees) to have considerable effect in soccer charts. It was my analysis apart from the superior position.

I am having difficulty understanding this dominance idea. If Mars is in Libra and Jupiter in Cancer, are you saying that Jupiter dominates Mars because it is in the 10th sign from Mars, and is this because in whole sign houses Jupiter is in the 10th relative to Mars?

If so, why does Mars not dominate Jupiter as Mars is in the 4th sign from Jupiter, and so another angular house relationship? I suspect I have not understood what you are saying :)

Fredrikstad was founded by King Fredrik of Denmark and Norway in 1567. Due to its closeness to the sea and thus the continent, it has historically been an important key-point for trade and industry.

The idea is a Hellenistic one. From how I understand it, if we imagine the dominated planet in the ASC, the dominator is in the 10th sign and thus, ideallyand symbolically, at the highest point of the sky. Jupiter on the ASC would mean Mars in the 4th sign which is completely invisible and opposed to the highest point.

If I understand Janis's method correctly, then taking this Saturday as an example:

Teams which Janis allocates as Mars will fare badly against teams allocated as Jupiter?

On Saturday Moon in Aries is the 10th sign from Cancer(Jupiter)

I'm not clear how Janis is balancing planetary dignities so the query is how would Moon teams be expected to do against Jupiter teams.??

I am aware of the idea of a planets dominating from the 10th. I don't use this method but do monitor the Moon in Gemini (being the 12th house from its house of rulership)

Champions League, first leg of semi-finals

Atletico Madrid - Chelsea,
20.45 CEST
Odds: 1,85 3,50 4,80
Asc 0SC21, MC 5LE56, Moon 8AQ34, POF 6LE22
Day Mars, Hour Moon - radical by mutual powers with asc (but enemy with ruler)

The chart is radical, but notice the enemity between Moon and Mars. The Moon casts her antiscia to Saturn, L4, yet the most counting factor should be Fortuna conjunct the Midheaven in Leo - Madrid (!?) I can't find a reference for this sign association off hand, but certainly POF conjunct MC should be good for the favourites.

However, the ascendant is conjunct the Solar eclipse due in October at 0SC25. Could the be a warning that early success could collapse? I have to agree With experts who suggest Atletico will win with the smallest margin this evening, which will put this success to test at the return match due at Stamford Bridge. I have chosen the match to end a draw with a 0-1 handicap at the odds of 3,75:1, which means Atletico can win 1-0, 2-1, 3-2, etc and the stake will give a return.

I have been following this thread with interest; trying to learn but you guys are complicated. :D

Just looking at tonight's Madrid v Chelsea chart, J.Lee Lehmam & Brady say if the Asc is 3' 30 degrees or less, then take the previous sign as First House ruler.

So Chelsea are Venus (Pisces) in 5th & Madrid are Mars (Libra) in 12th. Not sure if strip colours match up?

12th house rubbish; Chelsea dominant win.

But then I see you guys analysing the moon a lot. She's sitting on the IC, less than 3 degrees.

Who knows, but go, Jose. 8)
