House - 5th (Pu-lease! Don't get us started down that road again!)

Planet - Whatever planet is the 5th house ruler, but also Venus is the natural significator for all kinds of pleasure. The quality of the sex would be shown by which planet is the ruler of the 5th house. A strong Venus as 5th house ruler would show a healthy, fun sexuality. Saturn in it's detriment as 5th house ruler would show a sexual block or an inhibited, restricted sex life.

In the traditional world, Pluto can't rule a house cusp because it doesn't rule any signs. But not everyone is traditional, so it's a matter of what school you are more comfortable in.

I saw a poll where they asked people which signs were the sexiest, and of course Scorpio won out, followed by Pisces. File that last one under "still waters run deep." That's coming from someone whose birthday is in 65 days. Hint, hint.

I would like to add an enphasis to this PLEASE, as the last two times this subject has been brought up it was one of the most controversial topics, and both sides still think exactly what they think before....

About 12 pages of discussion, if I recall :P

PS: To MarkF... I don?t know if there is any basis of a solar sign being "sexier"... spetially scorpio, which is not linked to the sexual organs, as many say, but only to the excretory system (My brother is an scorpio) :brows

Oh that "Scorpios are the sexiest" was just a poll on some modern site. A friend of mine tells me that Scorpios are dark, sneaky maybe, and says they are similar to the 12th house. Mars in a subtle way.

He also says that he's never seen anyone with Venus in Scorpio who's not a bit "slutty."

I have been involved for several years with someone who's got Scorpio rising and I can vouch for all of that dark stuff.

OK... that's me. I know all about that. For me Venus in Aries means that in matters of love I am pushy when I should be patient, loud when I should be queit, and headstrong when I should be receptive. This is doubly true because Venus rules my 7th house. And maybe made even more pushy by me having Aries as my rising sign. Oh and my Venus is in the 12th house, conjunct the South Node. Yipee!

my Venus rules my 5th house (in Libra), Venus is in Capricorn - in some house systems in the 8th - in some other in the 9th house 8) .

And I am Pisces also :D

Well, it seems there are a lot of sexy Scorpios and pleasure-loving Pisces here!

But I've always heard that while Scorpio has the reputation for being the sexiest sign, it's really TAURUS that actually has all the fun.

And I have to say, judging from the Taurus men I've known it's true! (Of course Venus rules Taurus...)

I've just been asked who originated the concept of sex being assigned to the 8th house and was it Alan Leo. With the follow up of when. I don't honestly know. It's clear that Leo's contemporaries like the last Raphael and Sepharial didn't use the 8th house like this. And Leo certainly didn't in his early days. But I haven't tracked a lot of references yet.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Yes, sorry Kirk! :D - I forgot the "Beastling's" birthchart which definitely deserved judgement of its own. :P However I guess we will just have to wait and see if Destiny decides to have a bit more fun with us on it's chessboard :lol:
