comparing this two astrologer of the 12th century who have record success in predicting war,inspite of this similarity they both have different mode to which they practise war chart.lilly uses christian astrology,seperating or easy aspect.While bonatti uses electional astrology,no separating aspect and assign both parties as challenger in 1st house and receiuer of challenge in 7th house.have practised this two method in many of my chart and some how lilly seems preferable.which do u think works better

Lilly war chart have help me obtain 5 prediction correctly while bonatti war chart too especially in sporting event(battle of ashes), i culd actually say bonatti war chart gives 65% accuracy and lilly war chart gives 80%. Judging from war chart which i gathered and studied with each method. 5 chart from world 1,2 each, i will post this chart later,so as to see how each practise affect the judgement of each war chart

Lilly was a 17th century astrologer, Bonatti lived in the 13th century.
Lilly's method is only a bit 'simpler'/shorter version of Bonatti ("On War").
Bonatti in turn drew on sources like Sahl ibn Bishr (8th/9th century) and Abu Ma'shar (8th/9th century).

Lilly just faithfully follows in their steps, there are no real differences between them.
