I wish with hindsight that I had bid on the Coley edition. Unlike most reprints, it was complete, and sold for just ?500 plus buyer's premium.

Last night on ebay, I was positively amazed to see a buyer purchasing a similar copy for the seller's astronomical reserve price of $2800, equivalent to three times the price of the copy that sold at the start of the year!

Just goes to show that where a work is scarce enough, people will pay more or less whatever is asked if they want it there and then....
