aglaya - i agree - more info on a person whose chart is under examination is always more helpful.. one of the suggestions i remember taking to heart a long time ago was to find a book on the person with and an accurate chart and work from this advantage.. i have done this a few times and it is very rewarding. nothing is perfect!

He was the chief executive of the French oil company Total but died in October when his business jet collided with a snow plough at Vnukovo Airport in Moscow. I think the name of the firm is what fascinates me more than anything else in the chart! L10 is Sun in Leo conjunct Pluto. Now, is there a better name for a firm described by these planets?! Total! Quite amazing!

i thought i would examine the solar return and primary directions for the approx time of his death.. here is some of what i see. in the solar return for 2014 to his place of birth i note the degree of the midheaven is 11 sag 44.. the mercury/sun conjunction is trine this with mercury at 10 leo being the closest aspect to either angle in the 2014 solar return chart. why is this important? mercury is the 8th sign ruler using scorpio rising chart. natal mercury is at 10 virgo 21 and also happens to make the closest aspect to either angle in the 2014 sr chart, so i think it emphasizes mercury..

in the primary directions using both mundane and zodiac placidus semi arc i note the sun is at the square of saturn mundane pd's which you can see below in the data used off morinus.. this tells me that using the sun as the hyleg seems to be supported by the primary direction data as i understand it. both the solar return chart and the primary directions seem to support a potentially dangerous year for margerie.. using the transit or solar return data highlights saturn as well in a strong sense which we could talk about more if interested.
